Tired from his high stress work fighting cyber-crime, Key Alder takes a vacation on a beautiful Italian coast. He travels from one gorgeous town to another and after a perilous journey lost in the mountains, he settles into his hotel and relaxes.

In a beachside café, next to a warm pale-blue ocean, a performer hands out fliers for an arts festival in a mountain village. Lured by adventure, Key attends an evening performance of fire juggling acrobats in the legendary village piazza.

Claudio Di Fiore, the star of the show, sees Key in the audience and is captured by a wonderful feeling he’s unaccustomed to. Claudio wants Key. Key is enchanted by Claudio. A passionate love grows between the two men.

When Claudio’s mysterious ancient family threaten to tear them apart, will Key risk everything to stay with his loved one?

Excerpt:

When the performance ended, Claudio ran his way. Empty-handed, he wasn’t collecting donations this time. He grabbed Key by a hand and pulled him along. “Come with me.”

Key followed, smiling at the urgency in Claudio’s voice.

Claudio led him into the lane on the opposite side of the plaza. Lit only by the glimmer of the main streetlights, the lane cloaked them in semi-darkness. Claudio gazed at him, holding both hands now. “I’ve not stopped thinking about you all night, all day. I’m desperate to kiss you.”

Key leaned to him and kissed his perfect lips.

Claudio slipped a hand around Key’s neck and an arm around his waist. He returned Key’s kiss with such passion, Key’s entire body tensed with sexual need.

Key slid a hand along Claudio’s muscled back. He murmured softly and lingered in the kiss, bringing his hand up to Claudio’s head to hold him there.

Claudio broke the kiss but kept his lips close to Key’s. He whispered. “This is heaven. Don’t stop kissing me. I can’t bear to lose your mouth on mine.”

Key’s thighs weakened. He swept his hands down to Claudio’s ass and thrust against him. His lower body contacted Claudio’s and he moaned low into Claudio’s kiss. “I feel the same.”

The beautiful man in his arms sighed as he kissed him. “I want you so much. I have to tell you. This, the way I feel about you, it’s new to me. Feel my heart.” He grabbed one of Key’s hands and pressed the palm to his chest.

Key gasped at the touch of Claudio’s fingers and the muscles beneath his hand. Claudio’s heart thumped. Key whispered between kisses. “My heart is racing, too. Claudio, the moment I saw you something happened to me…”

Claudio kissed him—surged against him.

A groan escaped Key at the feel of Claudio’s rock hard cock through his pants. He shifted his hips a little so that his own aching dick pressed on the hard column. He held Claudio’s face and kissed him, pouring tenderness into the embrace as seeds of love mingled with lust.

“Key, we need to talk. You know, to find out things about each other. Have dinner with me tomorrow. Meet me. There’s a restaurant hotel in the valley. I don’t perform tomorrow night. It’s the fire eater’s spotlight.” He stopped whispering and kissed Key.

“I’d love to have dinner with you.” Key answered a breath away from Claudio’s lips.

Claudio moved half a step away. He shook his head slowly. “I have to go. The troupe will wonder where I am. I don’t want to. I want to be here in your arms. The restaurant tomorrow night in the valley, 8:00, okay, it’s called Luna Blu.” He smiled.

Key nodded. “I’ll find it.” He grabbed Claudio close and hugged him tight. Then he let him go.

Claudio slipped his hand around Key’s jaw and placed a gentle kiss on his lips. “I just had to have one more kiss.” He turned to leave.

Key grasped his wrist.

Claudio looked back, his eyes dark and full of tenderness.

Key kissed him. “So did I. I’ll see you tomorrow night.” Claudio’s wrist slipped from his loosened grasp. He watched the beautiful man stride away.

Key heaved a breath. He ran a fingertip along his lips, eyes closed. Claudio’s lips had been on his. Claudio had been in his arms. Key leaned back against the wall of the building. This is so great. It’s unbelievable. He is just gorgeous … enigmatic, but gorgeous…

He walked to the carpark in a daze. On the drive to his hotel, happiness consumed Key. He gave the valet his car keys and went up to his room. I need to buy a jacket tomorrow. I don’t have anything formal enough for a dinner date. Key smiled at the word, date. Maybe I should visit a pharmacy as well … just in case… Some tiny starry glitter had stuck to his palms from beautiful Claudio’s body. Key sighed as he saw it. I can’t wait to see him again…

I loved it!
Written by Carrie Krogh on 11th Oct 2022

I loved Dragon Bridge by E.D. Parr. I loved Key and Claudio's story. They had great chemistry and so many hot scenes. The story does have an instant love trope, and I also loved the legend of the Dragon Bridge.

Love is magic
Written by Laora on 18th Aug 2022

An orginal vacation and fantasy story set in Italy. Told from both Key and Claudio, the main characters, their POV. Key has the most unusual vacation love ever. I really liked the storyline and how all the details are revealed. I enjoyed this original love story and had to know what and how all connected, so could not put it down before I knew.

Key's Unusual Vacation
Written by Emily Pennington on 18th Aug 2022

Key Alder is tired from his stressful job against cyber-crime and needs time off to relax and shake off the overwhelming sadness. He was having trouble sleeping and noticed the dark shadows under his eyes. His brother Wes called and, hearing the weariness in his voice, suggested again that he take a vacation. He heads off to Italy and looks for intriguing resort towns and activities to immerse himself in. He was taking a month to unwind, and as soon as he showered, he fell asleep. Having dinner as he looked out at the ocean, he noticed a handsome man a few tables away. He closed his eyes to enjoy a warm breeze and found the man he had checked out standing beside him, asking to join him for coffee. Gino Donatelli sat down as they got to know each other. But when Gino asked about Key’s job, he saw pain in his eyes and Key prepared to leave. Gino asked if he could walk back to the hotel with him since he had noticed that Key was staying at the same hotel as he was. As they paused at an alley, Gino kissed him. But Key did not return the kiss. He explained he was merely startled, then kissed Gino, and Gino took his hand for the rest of the walk to the hotel. Gino invited him for a drink, but Key was leaving the next day so he declined. Getting an early start, Key realizes he is lost in the mountains. He stopped at a crumbling ruined palace, surprised when an older man answered the door. He invited Key in and a staircase led to the top branches of a tree! Open doors that should lead to a balcony would had instead lead to a deadly drop since the balcony was missing. The man drew a map for key, served him coffee, and Key left. Visiting an ancient village, he watches the fire juggling acrobats show next to the Dragon Bridge. Claudio Di Fiore, a performer, catches his attention. Claudio seems to have a reaction to Key as well and the two begin to fall in love. But Claudio’s family seems intent on keeping them apart. Will Key refuse to be sent away? Is he in danger if he tries to refuse? Is there a secret he is unaware of?

Legendary Amore
Written by acpatrick on 18th Aug 2022

Key is burned out from his job and decides to take an extended vacation to Italy to destress and try to enjoy life again. He plans his itinerary to visit some smaller resort towns along the coast and just have a good time. Along the way, he meets some interesting men and gets lost in the mountains (pay attention here, as there will be a test later). When he visits a small, ancient village, he is enchanted by a man in an acrobat show, while at the cafe next to Ponte Drago-Dragon Bridge. Pay attention to the legend surrounding the bridge. The story continues with many twists and turns, as his and Claudio's relationship grows and potential dangers emerge. The ending is not quite how you expect.

This has to be my favorite story from E.D. Parr to date!
Written by Kymmie Carlton on 3rd Aug 2022

Dragon Bridge has a legend, mystery, fantasy, a love story, romance, acrobatics—and I don't mean in the bedroom but those scenes are sizzling too—all set in a breathtaking Italian backdrop. The authors descriptions of the scenic beauty made me feel like I could be sitting right there with Key in the piazza, falling in love with Claudio and Italy. Highly Recommended!
