“Friendship, huh?” Brett arched a brow.
That sounded good, didn’t it? Not sinister or sexual at all? Genius slid a hand into his hair and tugged him closer. When their lips touched, it was warm and perfect. Two mouths meeting and forming a bond. Simple.
It quickly became more. He closed his eyes. His tongue slithered out to explore. Suddenly, his breath was fast and his body responded. Genius was definitely getting a hard-on. He shifted his hands to Brett’s shirt, pausing only to pull it over his head.
“I think that kiss was good enough to make up,” Brett mumbled, grinning as he took off his belt. The gun clanked on the table as he set it down.
“Is it? I’m not too sure. We might have to try again.” Genius kissed him, harder this time. He took control and loved how Brett just melted in his arms. His whole body went slack. He started a wet trail down Brett’s neck. Kiss. Lick. Kiss. Lick. Nibble. Those nipple piercings flashed at him, beckoning. Fuck. Genius became more aggressive. He pulled on those hoops with his teeth, hearing a groan. “Like that, do you?”
“It’s okay.” Brett was smiling as he said it.
Oh, so he wanted to be cheeky? Genius pushed at his shoulders until the man laid on the couch. He went right for those pants, unbuttoning them and prying them open. “That bulge in your underwear says it was more than okay.”
I loved Love's Going to Kill You by James Cox. It's the eighth book in the Big Balls and Brass Knuckles. I love this series. In this book Brett and Genius solve a case that was thought to have been closed five years ago. I love how they interact together and how they manage to keep their relationship secret.

Short, fast-paced and thoroughly entertaining. If you love a great mystery series, this is for you. Despite their length, these stories are well written. The plot and the characters are phenomenal.

This series has been full of interesting cases and the mystery surrounding this one is another good one. These are quick stories but I don't feel like I miss anything when reading them. I can't wait for the next one.

This is a really quick book with the crime solving duo. When a woman is killed with a falling drone and the package disappears, the two work together to track down links to an old case and find some surprising discoveries. Interesting characters, some unexpected clues and deductive reasoning solve the case.

I have enjoyed all the books in this series and loved this one just as much. The great dynamic and chemistry between MC';s carries on and they both come across as smart and sexy in the interplay between them. Even though this is a relatively short mystery story everything is covered!.

Quick Satisfying Read

Love's Going to Kill You is a fast paced, quick read full of mystery, action and romance.
The story begins with our heroes in a partnership and a relationship. Brett and Genius have a strong bond, but a miscommunication, or lack thereof, has them at odds in the beginning of the story. Together, they make efforts to work it out and they make a strong team and I really liked them as a couple.
Its obvious that Mr.Cox knows how to write sizzling chemistry and some steamy *fans self* sex. I really found myself invested in this couple, even though it is a relatively short story. I want to read more about them and its obvious this saga with these two intriguing man will continue.
You can bet I'll be waiting.

I love how Genius sees a problem and immediately looks for a solution through continuous improvement. Genius acted before talking to Brett and the fallout put their relationship in jeopardy. There's a new mystery that ends going back a 5 years and touching many in unexpected ways. Will Brett and Genius make up? Can they work together or have things gone too far? Great story, excellent mystery! The mystery path starts out crooked and turns into a fun pretzel. Nicely done.

Together, they make efforts to work it out and they make a strong team and I really liked them as a couple. \r\n\r\nIts obvious that Mr.Cox knows how to write sizzling chemistry and some steamy *fans self* sex. I really found myself invested in this couple, even though it is a relatively short story.
