I stopped where I was and turned slowly to face Rem again. I heard the door close, leaving me alone with him. He stalked toward me, and fear rolled through me at the look on his face, somewhere between anger and lust. While I knew he would never hurt me, I couldn’t help being scared. After all, he was a powerful man, more than capable of causing harm. I moved backwards as he came closer, and I felt the pool table hit my backside.
My fear made my hands spring up in defense. "Rem."
"Quiet,” he said, and then he grabbed me and spun me around to bend over the table. I swung my arms back at him, but it only made it easier for him to pin both my wrists to the small of my back.
"Enough of this bullshit. We tried things your way. Now it’s time for my way," he said, his voice low and rumbling.
Before I knew it, Rem had one hand holding my wrists and the other was bunching my skirt around my waist. Then I felt a hand on my panties, and I only had time for small yelp before he ripped away the crotch.

Really, really, really good! REIGN OVER ME isn't in the usual genre that I read, but I'm thinking I've been reading the wrong genre! Excellent plot, vivid, well-developed characters, immediately engaging, fast paced and wicked hot. Lots of dog-eared pages in this one!
I loved this book so much! It's a fast read because you can't put it down until you're done. Highly recommend it!
This is one of the better books I’ve read this year. Loved that the female lead was not dumb or dishonest about her feelings. Really hate overly angst book.
Well lets start with the cover, in one word,... titillating. I have never written a book review before but felt compelled to do so after reading this book. This book is a contemporary romance novel, and it sucks you in from the get go with its, erotica, alpha-male, screwed up characters, wtf moments, and sexual tension.Reign over Me is riveting, sexy and pulsing with energy, it is everything you want in romance: sexy, sweet and a ton of heat. And I can't wait for Gwendolyn's next book.

In the fantasy world that Casey artfully creates, innocent Izzy (Isabel) meets Remington and the sparks fly. Experiencing Izzy's transition from an innocent young lady into a woman who recognizes her own strength (even while enjoying Rem's dominance in the bedroom and a few other fun places!) is just so much fun. Through careful introduction to and exploration of the motorcycle club world, Casey carefully introduces other bad boy club members and their stories -- setting up Reign Over Me as a great first book in this new series. Five stars!

It's your classic opposites attract, bad boy meets innocent girl kind of story, but with plenty of sexual tension and mystery to keep you reading. The author keeps switching the narrative between the main characters, so as the reader you can truly experience both sides of the story as it develops from lust to love. The dialogue is realistic and the author's descriptions of each scene makes it easy to visualize every detail. The characters are likeable and the sex scenes are HOT! There's enough of excitement, danger and passion to keep you reading (and blushing). Buy this book!
I'm a guy who read this book only because I was challenged to by my girlfriend's sister. After finishing the book, I admit two things: 1) I have never read a romance novel or erotic literature prior. 2) I loved it! The book: The characters are complex and their interactions well developed. The plot flows well and at a good pace. I love the author's writing style and word choices. (it says book 1, but I can't find book 2. Help! Is it on the way?) Sex/romance/love/erotica, etc: The characters sexual chemistry and tension is virtually tangible as it is often told from both the male and female point of view. The sex scenes were creative and simply - hot! They got me thinking and more.
Just finished Reign Over Me and wow, it was a really good read. Izzy and Rem are smoking hot together. After Isabel's dad and uncle get into trouble with a rival MC she becomes a unknowing pawn in their club business. Sent to the Aces for protection, Izzy is like a fish out of water. The club decides to protect her and she finds a way to assimilate into the club. Sparks like fire ignite between her and the Aces Vice Prez, Remington and a really sexy and complicated romance begins. I enjoyed this book very much and that ending was unexpected - be sure to have a cold drink on standby! Interesting characters that set up storylines to come and I can't wait to read them all. Great story from this author, Gwendolyn Casey. If MC stories are your thing, this one won't disappoint!

Life has not always been easy for Rem, but the Marines helped, and the Ace’s became his family after his service. The MC life can be harsh and cruel, especially to outsiders, yet Rem would never live any other way. Isabel is struck by a bolt of attraction when Rem walks into the room, even when it seems he has no interest in her at all. Every day is a battle for Rem. He wants Isabel beyond reason, but she is too good for a man like him. It all becomes too much, and the eruption rocks the entire club. The Ace’s demand loyalty above all else, and Isabel is about to be tested in ways she never thought possible. The lure of a bad boy is hard to resist, especially when it comes packed with hard muscle and a gorgeous face. Isabel has no resistance to this kind of onslaught, and the result is incredible. She and Rem are complete opposites in so many ways, yet when they come together it is magic. I love the darkness, but it is the sincerity and total devotion the Ace’s have for each other, that keep you wanting more.
This book is amazing beginning to end! I love the way each chapter switches from the main characters points of view! Great read!!!!
