Fated Ink, 2

Two hundred years ago, Saffron Walsh paid the ultimate price to save her coven. Her blood, her life, her sacrifice bound the curse that stole her mates away.

Now, after centuries of walking alone, she’s brought Nolan and Isaac back—wolves bound to her soul, fierce and unyielding in their devotion. For the first time in lifetimes, Saffron dares to believe in forever.

But forever comes under fire. Adrian Veynar, a warlock with a god complex, wants the ancient talisman for himself, to complete the curse and rid the world of shifters forever. With the Council rallying to his banner, Fated Ink becomes ground zero in a battle between darkness and destiny. They must find their fourth, and gain the ancient talisman for themselves.

She’s already sacrificed her family, her happiness and the loves of her life for this battle. Will the Moon Goddess demand her sacrifice again? And if so—what will it cost this time?

Blood. Love. Destiny. In the end, Saffron’s fate will either save them all … or destroy everything she’s fought for.

Be Warned: menage sex (MFM), anal sex

Excerpt:

Ursula’s eyes flicked toward the cat on the chair. “I know what you’re thinking. You are wondering if your mates came back last night,” she murmured under her breath. The needle buzzed on. “The Moon Goddess promised that you would get your fated ending.”

Saffron’s ears twitched. She had said that, but when? This century? The next? Hell, the way the world was burning under climate change it would be a fucking miracle if we lasted another fifty years! Saffron understood all too well. Two hundred years was a long time to walk this world alone. She’d endured, but the weight of it pressed heavier every year.

She needed them. Needed the warmth of her wolves, the rough laughter, the way their touch had made her feel whole. She hadn’t even craved another’s touch—not really. Well, except for once—no, twice. Her whiskers twitched at the memory of two firemen stripping out of their gear, muscles slick, voices low. Hotter than hot. She’d taken herself in hand more than once in the privacy of her bathroom after that.

As if her thoughts had conjured them, the bell over the door chimed. The two men strode in, tall and broad, the air shifting with their presence. Saffron’s heart nearly exploded in her chest. Isaac and Nolan King. One look was all it took for her to know who they were to her. Her wolves. Her mates.

Both men were striking—muscular and tall, shoulders stretching their shirts. Isaac was slightly shorter, though his frame was broader, his dark brown hair falling across his forehead and those startling blue eyes locking onto everything with protective intensity. Nolan had the same piercing eyes, but stood an inch or two taller, his short dark blond hair catching the light. Both carried full, sensual lips and a dusting of facial hair that only sharpened their rugged beauty.

They scanned the room, jaws tight, eyes glowing faintly as if daring anyone to challenge them. “Where is she?” Nolan demanded, voice rough with possession.

Liam sat up straight, Jacob right beside him. The recognition was instant, like a spark leaping a gap. The four of them froze, shock widening eyes, breath catching in chests.

Then, Liam whispered, awe breaking his voice. “Brothers … it can’t be.”

Jacob’s mouth curved into a disbelieving grin. “It is. I’d know you anywhere.”

The reunion was fierce and messy, arms clapping around shoulders, laughter and curses mixing with the sting of unshed tears. Isaac pulled Liam in hard, Nolan crushed Jacob against his chest, the four of them gripping like they’d never let go again. Centuries fell away in that moment, the bond of blood and fate reknit before everyone’s eyes. Around the room, Willow, Ursula, and even Saffie in her cat form found that their eyes were damp, each woman moved by the sheer intensity of the brothers finding one another again.

Willow stepped back, watching with wide eyes, her voice hushed but sure. “You’re family,” she breathed. “I don’t know how, but I feel it. Like you’ve always been part of us.”

Nolan laughed shakily, thumping Jacob’s back. “Part of you? Hell, sister, we were lost without you. And now…” he trailed off, eyes shining. “Now we’re whole again.”

Saffron sat frozen, breath trapped in her feline chest. She compared them—then and now. Isaac, protective as ever, just as he had been when he’d shoved his brother clear of the falling beam. Nolan, still chaos, still the reckless one, the boy who had once run headlong into battle and centuries later had run into flames to save a dying cat from a burning stairwell.

They were asking Ursula where she was. Saffron stretched, sliding gracefully from the chair to the floor, padding forward with deliberate steps. Nolan’s head whipped around, eyes narrowing. Predator stillness wrapped around him as he focused on her.

“Kitten,” he murmured, crouching low. “Our little kitten.”

Isaac was at his side in an instant, both of their eyes glowing now. They had caught her scent.

Saffron’s heart thundered. She let the moment stretch, then the air shimmered. Her body shifted, bones lengthening, fur dissolving into skin. When she stood, she was in her black dress, heels clicking against the floor, makeup perfect. She tilted her head and drank in their stunned faces.

“Surprise, boys,” she drawled, lips curving. “Didn’t expect your kitty to clean up this well, now, did you?”

For a beat neither brother moved, shock written across their rugged faces. Nolan’s lips parted, his gaze raking over her like he couldn’t believe she was real.

“Holy hell,” he whispered. “It’s really you.”

Isaac’s jaw flexed, his voice rough and reverent. “Two hundred years and you still look like sin wrapped in silk.” He took a step closer, blue eyes burning. “Our mate. Our Saffron.”

Her lips quirked, sarcasm her only shield. “Took you long enough to find me. What, did you stop for coffee first?”

That broke the tension. Nolan huffed a laugh even as his hands twitched like he wanted to grab her and never let go. Isaac swore softly, then closed the distance—hands cupping her face, mouth claiming hers in a kiss that devoured two centuries of longing, a kiss that tasted of fire and promise and the beginning of their forever.

Strong Series Entry with a Unique Twist
Written by Suserla on 6th May 2026

This paranormal romance is part of the Fated Ink series and works best when read in order. While the central romance can be enjoyed on its own, readers who skip earlier books will miss important context from the overarching story arc. What makes this installment stand out is that the triad—featuring a witch and bear shifters—retains memories of their past lives. This adds an extra layer to the relationship dynamics and gives the story a slightly different feel compared to other books in the series. The romance develops well within this setup, and the book stays consistent with the tone and direction of the wider series. Overall, a solid and enjoyable addition that fits neatly into the Fated Ink universe, with a compelling twist that keeps things interesting.

I really liked this MFM paranormal romance. A warlock named Adrian is trying to rid the world of shifters. Will Saffron and her men be able to stop him? This was a very interesting paranormal romance. I found the plot compelling, and I really liked the three main characters.

Great read

1813- The war between the witches and warlocks is in full swing. Saffron and her mates- Alaric & Ryan are fighting the change and getting into the thick of it, because Saffron told them that she had seen what was to be. That they needed to do things in order for there to be shifters in the future. We see Alaric’s twin brothers cut down. Then their mate, Libby. This is because Matthew found them. Alaric and Ryan are desperate to do something. She makes them stay with her, and explains what will be. It broke my heart. In 1996, their father takes Isaac (11) & Nolan (8) and helps them to the window because their house is on fire. He tosses the boys out, and what happens next is even more heartbreaking. I cried, again. After growing up, they chose a vocation/ occupation that is worthy of them. Now they are in their late 20s. Back in 1813, Saffron makes her choice. Sacrificing for the greater good, so that there will be a future for shifters. Finding out what all of that entails was devastating. She casts her own spell while the Council casts theirs. There is a bunch of shocking stuff that happens next and then we return to the present. Weird stuff happens after that, we find out that the Goddess blessed Saffron with something to extend her life. Sheesh. Things begin to go to the Goddess’ plan. As the things needed to begin breaking the Council’s spell happen, men begin to shift into their beasts. There is some hilarious stuff with this. Ursula is working at her tattoo parlor, putting Willow & Libby on Liam & Jacob. Willow is Libby reincarnated, and Liam and Jacob have found their mate again. I cried once again. Then Saffron is reunited with her men, in another form and it is hilarious. lol. Finally, the guys and Saffron meet up again and it gets all sweet, hot and romantic. Saffron, Nolan and Isaac are perfect together. However, there are Councilors who still live and they do not want the return of the shifters and will do whatever they can to stop it and make it permanent, to remain in power. They want to find their Druid Stone to make this happen. The Coven- Willow, Saffron (High Priestess), & Ursula need to find their 4th to complete the circle. They need the reincarnation of Marion Cloughson, who we find out is Brielle. Then the big fight comes after Brielle is hurt in the hospital with one of the men keeping watch over her. But, just as the leader of the Council, which is now Adrian, the Calvary arrives and the fight is on and is awesome. I loved it. The fighting is fierce, and the ending was shocking and made me cry. I loved the ending and I can’t wait for the next book. There is one final shock at the end.

Saffron's Fate
Written by Avidreader23 on 6th May 2026

I loved reading Saffron/Saffie's story as she is one of the pillars of Fated Ink. In the battle in the 1800s, Saffron and her mates have to make a very difficult decision that saves the fate of the shifters - that scene is so heart wrenching, you could feel the pain and grief 200 years later, her mates are back - that's the good news. Bad news - shifter haters are still out and the solution is to find the Druid Stone. Saffie turning into a cat - priceless ❤️ The relationship between both brothers is fantastic - their mutual teasing, sense of humour, dialogues, banter - stole the pages

Steamy paranormal MFM menage romance
Written by itsthejo on 6th May 2026

Book 2 of the Fated Ink series. For maximum enjoyment read the books in series order. 'She’s already sacrificed her family, her happiness and the loves of her life for this battle. Will the Moon Goddess demand her sacrifice again? And if so—what will it cost this time?' The characters were very complex and complicated and perfectly steamy together. Plot was intriguing and intense and exciting and well paced. World building continues to excel and impress. All in all a great addition to the series. Enjoyed immensely and highly recommend. Grab a copy, kick back and enjoy!

Saffron's Fate!
Written by Mary on 6th May 2026

WOW! What an intriguing read and series. It is the second in the "Fated Ink" series and not an overly long story. It is addictive and captures the readers attention from the action pact beginning. The story is about Saffie and her mates Isaac/Ryan and Nolan/Alric. It is a paranormal story with magic, a prophecy, a curse, shifters, witches and much more. I love the aspect of the magical tattoo. Although not necessary I would read this series in order. I cannot wait to read the next story!!!
