Be Warned: anal sex

Excerpt:

“What do you mean, to be yours?” Selma asked.

She didn’t want to be locked away in the bedroom again, or bored out of her mind. For as long as she could remember, she had always been busy. She’d always been active, much to her babysitters’ and tutors’ annoyance.

It had been a long time since she’d been so bored. She loved reading books, but they had always been something for her to do at the end of the night, to fall asleep to.

Drago looked at her. “What do you think it means?”

“Well, technically, I already belong to you. I mean, if that’s what you think marriage is all about.”

“I want you to be mine, Selma. I’m not looking for a marriage on paper. I want us to be together. I want to fuck you, make love to you, and share everything with you. I want to explore your body and spend hours with you screaming my name.”

Selma’s mouth fell open. She never had anyone speak to her so boldly. This was insane.

“I’m a virgin!” She didn’t know why she had blurted that out. “How am I supposed to do any of that when I don’t know how?”

She dropped her fork and slapped her hand across her mouth. How could she have been so foolish as to tell him the truth?

Since her father was a feared man with guards around all the time, and she was shy, there had been no boyfriends, no lovers, no nothing. All she had were books, and yes, some of them might have been a little steamy or even be described as erotic, but they were still hot. They certainly made her a little hot under the collar.

Now, though, she didn’t know what to do. The only kiss she had shared with a man was the one she had with Drago, after the priest declared them husband and wife. That was all.

Drago got to his feet and moved to step behind her. She gasped as his fingers stroked her hair back from her face and neck. He teased the strands beneath his fingers, and then caressed her neck. Before she could ask him what he was doing, his lips were on her neck, and he kissed her, hard.

She whimpered as she tensed up, but then she felt the pleasure rush through her body. Her nipples tightened and a flush of arousal seeped between her thighs.

Drago used his teeth to nibble on her neck, and then suck on the flesh. She couldn’t help but close her eyes. This felt so good. It was even better than it was described in the books. She didn’t want it to stop, but then, like all good things, it did … stop.

“Then how about you trust me and I show you?” Drago said.

Selma turned her head and was once again struck by his eyes. They were so perfect and blue, sharp, and light. She couldn’t stop looking at him.

“You’d teach me?”

“Yes. I would teach you everything you wanted to know and more.”

The temptation was too strong.

You’re married to him.

He is your husband.

“Will you kill me?” she asked.

As questions go, it felt like a foolish one. Who asked their husbands if they intended to kill them. Selma had never considered herself to be foolish, but she had always asked questions, even when she didn’t want the true answers. She looked at him, waiting.

Drago reached out. She didn’t know if she should flinch away from his touch, but why would she? Drago had never hurt her. He’d never raised his hand. He’d been kind and considerate to her, apart from threatening her father with death if she didn’t marry him, but that was all in the past.

Her father had been more than willing to hand her over to his enemy to save his own life. She didn’t know the full details, but she knew it wasn’t complicated. George had opted for his daughter to take his place. And so she paid his price.

Did she hate him for it? She wasn’t sure. Right now, she didn’t have the best feelings when it came to her father. She had nothing.

But, she was living with Drago. He was her husband, she was his wife. Did she want to spend her time alone in a bedroom, or try to make a go of it with this man? She didn’t have the answers, but who did?

He cupped her cheek and she looked into his eyes, not wanting to look away. What was it about his eyes that she found so magical?

“I will never kill you. I will never hurt you. I will always take care of you,” he said.

Brilliant series

Crave and Claimed Book 5 - Sold To The Enemy - Sam Crescent Drago Jones is a crime lord that has had to deal with his enemy George Kent for years. After one chance encounter where Drago meets Selma Kent George's daughter all bets are off. Drago knows without question Selma is his and will stop at nothing until she belongs to him in every way imaginable. I absolutely loved this story another great addition to a series that deserves more recognition I think. The characters were so well suited and I loved the relationship starting to grow between Drago and Selma and the trust they had in each other, as their bond grew and they started to explore what they could have together with some scorching hot scenes as their love began to blossom. Kevin was also a scene stealer through no fault of his own lol. I am excited to see where Sam Crescent goes with the next book in this great series. 5 out of 5 stars Please note that I was given an arc of this book for my honest review which is exactly what I have given.

Love This Storyline
Written by Jilllovesbooks on 14th Jan 2024

Love the progression of this story! It moved right along but you never lost anything by it. The whole storyline was great, Drago trying to be gentle with Selma and a gentleman. She started getting bored and that was the end of that, favorite part, when she told him "there wasn't going to be any babies and they should get the marriage annulled". Absolutely best part of the book!!

I really loved this story. I love the way they learned to trust each other. I loved that they had to work to build a relationship. I loved that not everything is the way it seems and, of course, I loved Kevin.

Nice love story
Written by Diana A on 14th Jan 2024

Even though the story is kind of cliché,Asia man in love of the enemies' daughter, and really enjoy it. The ups and downs, and how both not being use to be on a relationship affect everything, but they had a HEA.

Drago and Selma
Written by Doris on 14th Jan 2024

This is a quick, forced marriage romance that was a page turner. Selma’s father and Drago were not good men but the difference was that Drago had fallen for the beautiful woman and had love in his heart for her. This was a hot and steamy book that had me falling in love with this couple.

Selma and Drago
Written by CarKar on 14th Jan 2024

Loved this story of a love so big Drago went to great lengths to make Selma his. Drago was incredibly sweet to Selma from the beginning … how could she not end up falling in love with her her husband? While totally unconventional at the beginning, their love continued to grow through trust and openness. Loved their emotional connection as well as physical one. Enjoyed all around.

He now has to figure out how to win his wife’s affection. Can this arrangement grow into something real? Can Selma accept Drago as he is? The answer is yes to both!!

So good!
Written by Mistie Best on 14th Jan 2024

Wow, what a great read! Drago fell for Selma the instant he met her and immediately began to develop a plan to make her his. These two had a great enemies-to-lovers romance, but it wasn't too drawn out to distract from the story. I loved this one!

Finding family
Written by Bookbunny on 14th Jan 2024

Drago had wanted Selma when he first saw her. But to get her he had to strike a deal with her father. Selma couldn’t believe that her father made this deal. But Drago wasn’t all he seemed to be. I have to say I was surprised. Drago isn’t as bad of a man as he seems. Her father is a cold-hearted man and what you learn about him, man he is cruel. His fate is what he deserved. Drago romanced his wife and showed her the real man. For Selma she got more than she ever thought. These two both found love, happiness, and family. I great Christmas read.

Selma and Drago
Written by SeahawkGirl on 14th Jan 2024

Drago Jones had noticed Selma at a party and spent a year putting things in place to marry her. Selma's father was not a good man and chose to give his daughter's life to keep himself alive. Selma is sweet and a little naive and readily agrees to marry Drago to save her father. This was a great story with all the mafia tones. It was also a softer story with Drago treating Selma like a princess. I enjoyed this story very much and highly recommend it.

All about them
Written by RahiaLeight on 14th Jan 2024

While there is a hint of mafia here, there is almost no mafia action in the tale. It all revolves around them meeting and then him claiming her. It's a fast-paced tale with a blooming love that is definitely sweet and exciting.

Sold to the Enemy
Written by Karen99 on 14th Jan 2024

He Would Find A Way To Claim Her. The moment he set eyes on her, his obsession began but how to claim her as his own was the problem! Drago had never had to work for any woman’s attention but Selma meant everything to him, not that she knew but he would do everything in his power to make her happy. Selma knew Drago was bad and she wasn’t happy about being forced into a situation she had no control over but little by little she was starting to trust and love him but when her father suddenly appeared back in her life, would their tentative happiness be pulled apart or would it make them stronger? A wonderful, steamy read with a possessive male and a woman who was his everything!

Short and hot
Written by RhondaVB on 14th Jan 2024

This may have been a shorter read but Sam Crescent always makes sure her readers get a full on story! Selma is given to Drago and while she hated what her father did, she is also worried that maybe Drago is the same way. Over time, you can see them both shifting their thinking about each other. Great storyline, good writing and lots of steamy sexy scenes.

Forced marriage sweet romance
Written by Michelle E on 14th Jan 2024

Told in dual POV, this novella was well-written and engaging. I love a story that involves the guy falling first and a reluctant h. Although they were from enemy families Drago did not seek revenge or bully Selma. He tried to get her to fall in love with him, and she was resentful due to being in a forced marriage. How they navigated the relationship and slowly developed trust and mutual feelings is what kept me engaged. This was a great short story to fill 2 hours.

Those who dare win
Written by Mozzy on 14th Jan 2024

Those who dare win and in this case Drago dared and he certainly won. He spotted Selma across the room and even though she was his enemies daughter he was going to have her. She was beautiful and different not like him and her father. He married her and because she threatened to run kept her in her room for a month. Selma, she met Drago at a party and was taken with him, but what she didnt expect was for her father to ask her to save his life by marrying him. She knew her father was a bad man and thought Drago was the same, but he showed her a side to him that she came to love. This story was absolutely brilliant to read! Loved the storyline and loved Dragos personality even though he was thought to be a bad man. Recommend this story..... heck yes all the way!!!

Selma wanted nothing to do with her fathers world and when he drags her back from freedom to marry a stranger her life will never be the same. But could she ever fall for the man who took her? Love Drago
Written by ReadonReader on 14th Jan 2024

One look in one moment one night is all it took for the fierce Drago to become captivated with Selma and after setting eyes on her he becomes more than determined to make her his. When an opportunity arises for Drago to claim the woman who stole his heart he not only takes it he marries her and sweeps her away. At first Selma thinks Drago is this awful man she was forced to marry and be hidden away, but when the time comes for them to get to know each other the chemistry is visceral. For a quick short read this story had incredible steam, suspense, and emotions that captivate the reader. I was glued to it from start to finish and it was easy to fall in love with the characters as well as the story.

So good!!! I absolutely loved how he was with her! I loved how patient but firm he was. And I liked how she didn't fight just for fighting sake and how she saw her dad for who he was so it let her feel how she needed to feel. Loved them together. So so good.
