“Do you think I can’t smell you,” Daniel said.

"The Alpha's Domination" is the 4th book in the Alpha Shifter Collection by the awesome Sam Crescent. I'm a huge fan of her work, mostly because her characters are real people. (Or half people, as shifters may be) But they all have their flaws, they're not perfect, and the woman aren't supermodels. Daniel is the alpha of his pack of wolves and they are getting worried. His mate, Dawn, has been holding him at arm's length for over a year. While she calls him Master, she only allows him to punish her, he's not allowed to touch her otherwise. Daniel has had enough. So he takes Dawn in hand, and takes her home to find out why she is denying they are mates, what her secrets are, and why she feels no pain. She needs protecting, and he'll be the one to do it. This is another wonderful outing by Sam with a strong male alpha lead in Daniel and a brilliant female like Dawn, I also love the positive body image messages it sends.

Daniel was trying for a year to break down Dawn's walls. Dawn was hiding a secret she was ashamed of. I enjoyed watching Daniel break down the walls and get Dawn to open up. This is a good series!

I enjoyed reading this well written and fascinating romance. An Alpha Dom finds his mate in a submissive who is needs pain but feels abnormal in needing it. A beautiful and sexy romance.

Oh wow!! This series just keeps getting better and better. I love how he didn't give up on her and finally "took the bull by the horns" and took control of the situation. I hope Sam keeps writing on this series. I would love to read Jake's story!!!
