“Like what you see?”
Genius did not need his ego stroked any more than it already was, but Brett was honest. “You turn me on way too quickly.” Brett held his hand, caressing it before helping him out of his pants. He yanked on the last piece of clothing, those blue boxers with the black diamond logo. Down they went and out popped Genius’s cock. The head was rounded and slightly shiny from pre-cum. The shaft was smooth and tempting. Those big balls were neatly trimmed and proved his nickname was accurate. Brett licked his lips, then led Genius to the door on the right. His bedroom.
“I think you’re wearing too much clothing to join me in there.”
Brett entered the neat bedroom, leading the man to the bed. He gave Genius a smack on the ass. “Lay down.”
“So bossy.” He winked.
“Left hand above your head,” Brett ordered. When Genius complied, Brett plucked his handcuffs off his belt.
“Kinky.”
He snapped the cold steel around Genius’s wrist, then to the headboard. “That is so you don’t eat all the eggrolls like you did last time.”
Genius’s grin fell. “You’re kidding me.”
“I never kid about Big Wong’s eggrolls.” Brett chuckled at Genius’s unamused expression. He undid his belt, laying it on the bedside table. He pulled his shirt over his head, revealing the gold loops in each nipple. Just then the buzzer sounded. Brett left Genius all tied up and exited the bedroom. Beside the far window was the square delivery entrance. The small light above it was green. Brett opened the latch just as the drone flew away. In the opening was a bag of deliciousness. Brett took the whole thing right into the bedroom where Genius sat, pouting. Brett placed the bag on the table, pulling out the box of eggrolls. He opened it, sniffing, then took a bite. “I think I like the meat ones best.”
“Veggie ones get too soggy,” Genius muttered.
He was right. Brett sat on the edge of the bed, letting Genius take a bite from the one he held.
Genius began fanning his mouth with his free hand and chewed from side to side. “Too. Hot.”
“Hot like wax?” Brett arched a brow. He laid the eggroll on Genius’s thigh.
He hissed.
Brett rummaged through the bag to the next item. Boneless spare ribs. No, they weren’t Brett’s usual healthy fare. He was feeling the need for protein tonight. Brett used the chopsticks, taking a piece of rib and stuffing it into his mouth. Salty and sweet and rich.
“Watching you eat is doing wonders for my erection.”
Brett winked. He licked his lips, waiting for Genius to finish the eggroll. He grabbed another piece of meat with his chopsticks and fed it to Genius. “Good.”
“I’m naked in bed getting fed by a sexy shirtless man. It can’t get any better than this.”
This is the seventh book in the Big Balls & Brass Knuckles series. This is another good book to read. This story follows Brett who is a detective and Chris who is an inventor. Will Chris follow his dream job or will he stay and help Brett????? Brett is trying to solve a murder. Will Brett solve the case????? Will Chris leave or stay????
Another excellent addition this the Big Balls and Brass Knuckles series. In addition to a wide ranging cast of characters who hold their own, the MC are the absolute best. Genius and Brett work so well together, and carry that same chemistry from professional to personal, with ease.
OMG! I can't believe it, but every day I fall more in love with Genius and Brett. All that sensuality that surrounds their relationship, as in each story their love deepens and we get to know more of their most intimate secrets. A good case to solve, a bit spicy, a lot of inventiveness and detective work. This is one of my favorite series!
I loved Beautiful Dead Girls by James Cox. It's the seventh book in the Big Balls and Brass Knuckles series. I loved this addition to the series. I loved how Brett and Genius interacted, and I loved their chemistry. Their relationship seems to progress, but they're still keeping it on the down-low until the end of the story when Genius reveals that he's been investigating Brett's parents' death and that it wasn't a random killing. The book ends on a cliffhanger, and I'm dying to discover what happens next.
The author has created a cast of characters who are absolutely delightful. I want longer stories, (big pout)! They get a new case about a woman found in a gargage truck with no identity. Genious and Brett, are as usual asking the right questions. Brett is still questioning his relationship goals. Genious has an amazing opportunity which requires a big decision. Good flow, interesting investigation. Some unexpected surprises that bring intriguing results. Do they find the woman's killer? Does Brett come to any conclusions regarding his relationship goal? What does Genius do about his decision? Good read, great story. Nicely done.
This is another great book in the series. I cannot wait to see what happens next! As with the other books in the series, it is a quick read but has questions that are answered and some that are not. Love the mystery!
This is the seventh book in the series. I had not read the previous ones but was able to jump right in the story. Brett is a detective who is sleeping with his partner, Chris Genius, an inventor. There is a murder to solve, sex to have and some angst over feelings. There are two problems preventing this from being 5 stars. It is too short because I was really enjoying reading it and it ends on a cliffhanger. Now I have to go back and read the other books and wait for the eighth. I received a free copy via Evernight an am voluntarily leaving a review.
Could this be the real thing for Brett and genius? After spending a wonderful weekend together. Genius was starting to think that maybe they could have an open relationship that people know about but he wasn’t sure what Brett would think as he still wanted to keep it secret. As there waking up Monday morning Genius received a phone call that could change his life. Brett leaves so he doesn’t have to see Genius’s CEO arriving. And he gets a case straight away about a woman that had been found murdered in A garbage truck. And the case was fast paced to understand why this woman who had a quiet life had been murdered. She had recently been divorced because sadly their marriage just couldn’t survive the loss of their child. When interviewed you could tell that the ex husband still loves her very much. So while they're work the case Brett asks what the meeting was about this morning and he tells him that he has been asked to go into space and help with the problems that they’re facing building a space hotel which would mean the possibility of years away and this starts to get Brett thinking about his relationship. what does he want from it ??? does he want him to leave ?? does he want him to stay?? Will they find out who killed this woman?? I really like the interactions between Brett and genius it is obvious that these two men are falling in love with each other Brett is just fighting to stay on top of everything but he can’t hide how happy he is when he sees Genius or when they’re alone together but I will say there’s a major cliffhanger at the end of this book guys I was not happy I just want the next book now. Because you don’t know if this is going to change Genius’s plans This is a really good read.
I have been hooked on his series since book one and the stories only get better. While they aren't long, they are always very interesting and and I'm enjoying the progression of Genius and Brett's relationship. I can't wait to find out more about the investigation into Brett's parents' deaths.
While Brett is working on a big case, Genius is offered the career of his dreams. Filled with apprehension about what he should do, he is left blindsided by unexpected news when a new lead crops up in the case he is investigating on the side. Forced to come clean to Brett about the case he had been working on causes friction between them as partners, Can Brett forgive Genius for his deception? Or will his pride and anger cause him to lose the man he is falling for?
Another entertaining entry in the series. I always enjoy catching up with Genius and Brett and seeing how their relationship is going.
