“Hello, Sam,” he replied, wincing when his voice broke on the man’s name. “Thank you for doing this.”
Sam shrugged and shifted into a stance with his feet planted and his arms crossed over his chest. It was a stance Gabriel was well familiar with. Sam was uncomfortable but refused to voice it.
“It’s a paycheck,” he finally said, his gaze shifting over his shoulder to the only trailer in the lot. “Is that the trailer?”
Gabriel looked over his shoulder. “Yep, that’s it. This tour and album are completely different, so I figured I’d make a few changes. Plus, I had some time on my hands.”
“Will there be anyone else on this tour with you?”
“Just you. Which means you’ll be able to sleep in the trailer if you want. There’s plenty of room.”

Sam shifted his gaze away from Gabriel in a desperate attempt to hold tight to the anger that had been keeping him warm for more than two years. How could he offer to sleep with him before he had even apologized for his actions that had shattered Sam’s life and confidence in himself.
Then he looked at Gabriel and realized the man was not offering his bed, but one of the other beds in the trailer. If he remembered correctly, there were a half dozen bunk beds in addition to the king-size bed in the one bedroom.
From his body’s reaction just being this close to him after all this time, Sam had to refuse. His mind might not want anything to do with Gabriel Park, former star of the rock world, but his body seemed to have forgotten the lies and pain he had inflicted on Sam, causing him to stay off the road for two years, except to drive into Paola.
“I’ll sleep in the cab.”
“Oh. Okay. Yeah, maybe that would be best,” Gabriel said, sounding sad.
“What vehicle will you be driving?” Sam looked around since he did not see a van or SUV parked near the trailer that would indicate it belonged to Gabriel.
Gabriel’s face pinked up in what Sam could only assume was embarrassment.
“Uh, well, I hoped to ride with you, but I can ride in the trailer.”
“You don’t have a car?”
Gabriel shook his head as he dropped his gaze to the ground between them. “I can’t drive. I don’t have a license.”
Sam frowned at that admission. Of course he did not have a license. That was probably the first thing the authorities took from him. Luckily, they had not taken Sam’s license at the time. But then, he had not been in the truck when Gabriel crashed it.
“You’ll ride in the cab with me. Riding in the trailer is five kinds of illegal.”
“Okay. Thanks,” Gabriel said. “I’ve got nearly everything ready to go, so I guess you can just hook it up and we can hit the road.”
Sam nodded, but instead of returning to the truck, he headed toward the trailer. Not that he did not trust Gabriel, but since he was responsible for the contents of the trailer, as well as its safe delivery to each concert venue, he would check it out himself. Just to make sure.
It wasn’t as if he cared whether or not Gabriel’s belongings broke on the road, but he was still fighting the swing between memories of his attraction for the rock star, and the hate that he had carried since their last encounter.
After a quick walk through of the trailer, and packing the folding chair away, Sam watched as Gabriel locked the door. When the man offered him the keyring, he shook his head.
“As long as you’re with me, I don’t need a key.”
“Please take it. It’s a spare, just in case.”
Breathing deeply, Sam accepted the key and slipped it into his pocket. He then turned toward the cab. “All right, let’s get this Redeemed tour underway.”
I really enjoyed this book featuring Sam, the third and final Trucker Triplet and Gabriel, a Rockstar who blew up his life. It has second chances (both for love and a rock career), redemption, steam and supportive characters - it was great that the damage that Gabriel created wasn't glossed over and he had to work for his redemption. It might just have been my favourite of the three Trucker Love books (the other two are great too).
We've reached our last Myles brother with Sam. Reunited with his past love Gabriel for a six week tour, they find a way to reconnect in this short and steamy MM trucker read.
Rocking the Trucker is the third book in the Trucker Love series by Cooper McKenzie. This is a second chance romance between a broken-down rocker and his driver. Gabriel went one step too far, destroying his life, career, and his relationship with the love of his life. When he's given a chance to redeem himself, he sees it as an opportunity not only to regain the life he had but the love he'd lost also. Nothing is easy, but Gabriel stays the course. Determine to gain back all that he'd lost. Loved it.
We finally get the last Myles triplet story. Sam and Gabriel have a past, but it ended when Gabriel went to jail two years ago. Two years prior, Gabriel was a big rock star who let it get to his head. Now, he's starting over and hoping for a second chance with his trucker. Sam is hardened as he was hurt when Gabriel went to jail and didn't try to contact him in the two years he was locked up. Will he want a second chance between them?
Great book! Not just for Lot Lizard fans! Very relatable and interesting. Sexy and spicy but not dirty.
Gabriel Park screwed up his life so bad it ended him in jail. He also broke Sam Myles heart when he iced him out. Now he is trying to rebuild his career and he hopes he can get a second chance with his man. Sam has stayed off the road for the past two years but when the company, he owns with his brother makes him an offer they cannot turn down. Sam knows he has been deluding himself, he still loves Gabriel as much as he did two years ago. Will he be able to let him in again? This an emotional journey for both characters.
The final triplet This is the third book in the series and this time we meet Sam. When Sam finds out that he is going back on the road to shuttle Gabriel around he wasn’t happy you see Gabriel used to be in a band. A very successful band and while Sam was driving the band around he started a relationship with Gabriel, then one night something happened and a drunk and drugged up Gabriel Stole Sam‘s truck and crashed it resulting in Gabriel spending two years in prison. Sam was ready to stand by his side but Gabriel cut him off straight away and now two years later he was going to ferry this man around just him. He had no buffers no Band no technical people just Gabriel. Sam wasn’t worried about his feelings because he knew he hated him but there’s a fine line between love and hate. Gabriel had been dropped by a lot of people everyone except his agent who told him he had got him a tour as a single Artist playing the songs that he wrote while he was in prison. Gabriel isn’t sure but knows he must try again so what will happen when these two come together?? It is obvious to see these two have chemistry and a connection like no other I’ve got to say out of the three books this would be my least favourite one to read, I really enjoy the other books Don’t get me wrong. I like this one just not as much..
I hate to see this trio finished. Each brother had their own way of doing things and each had a different experience finding their HEA. Sam however, well, he is more a second chance kind of pairing. I had thought he was the smaller of the brothers the way he is described in the first two books but in this story, he is just as much of a bear as his brothers. I loved Sam's story and how it was told. I also enjoyed how Gabriel was presented as not a perfect person but pulled himself up after his fall from grace. I hate that these stories have ended as each were fun. I hope to get stories of another group of friends or relatives finding their person out there somewhere.
Unfortunately the rockstar life not only brought fame and fortune for Gabriel but also proved to be his downfall. He pays with time in jail after making a major mistake. It gives him time to think and to realize what he has lost. When he gets out, he sets about recovering not only is career but the man he loved and left behind. Sam has been working with his family's company instead of driving for rockstars while Gabriel is away. Sam agrees to be Gabriel's driver but is cautious about anything else. It took time but it also opened a second chance for them to get back together. Short but packed a punch.
Living like a rock star had cost Gabriel his career and the love of his life when one stupid decision sent him to jail for two years. He was going on a small tour but he wanted his man back. Sam had agreed to once again drive for him but his heart was walled up. The story of finding redemption with his fans, himself and the love of his life is not an easy one. This is a great read.
Gabriel used to be a famous rockstar but ended up in jail for two years. Now that he is out and clean he wants to change his image. His music is different and he is playing smaller venues. Sam is a truck driver who used to haul their trailer, but hasn’t driven in a couple years. Sam has been running the family trucking business. These two have a rocky history but Sam agrees to haul Gabriel’s trailer. This is a sweet, romantic love story and fun to read.
This is book three of Trucker Love Series about three brothers. This is a short quick read. I truly enjoyed this book. The love is there, but they are afraid to embrace it. Sam and Gabriel have a past, but was separated for two years. Gabriel went to prison after wrecking Sam's eighteen wheeler. Sam shut himself in the family home/business while Gabriel was away. Will they be able to get over the past? Will they come out as a couple? How will the fans react? Let's finish reading to find out!
Fabulous short MM second chance romance. Sweet and funny and low angst, heartwarming and a great HEA
When Gabriel screwed up, he lost his whole life......rock star status, his home and the one man he loved. Sam is the final brother in this series getting his story and I've been waiting for it. I enjoyed how Ms. McKenzie didn't gloss over the mistakes Gabriel made but had him work through them. No one is perfect. Sam was scared by Gabriel and I didn't think he would agree to the plan his brother had but he did and the second chance at love happens. It will be hard and will take time but I loved watching both characters find their way back to each other! I really love this series so much and I'm hoping that it will come out in print so I can buy all three books!
