Naughty Fairy Tales

Scarlet is separated from her camping party, lost deep in the northern wilderness. When she comes across what appears to be an abandoned cabin in the woods, she takes refuge for the night. Inside there are three of everything, but no sign of any occupants. Scarlet falls asleep in one of the large beds, dreaming of a knight in shining armor that she learned long ago doesn't exist.

When wild bears break in during the night, she thinks her life is over. But when she opens her eyes again she's surrounded by three of the hottest men she's ever seen. They demand to know why she's in their house, a desperate hunger in their eyes. Will Scarlet submit to their sexual appetite or return to her unfulfilling life beyond the forest?

Be Warned: menage sex (MFMM), anal sex, mild BDSM, figging.

Excerpt:

Scarlet ran blindly through the forest, tripping over roots and crashing into low branches. These guys were nuts. She’d agreed to clean up her friends’ mess to keep the peace, but soon after she started, they began brawling. It was nothing like she’d ever seen before—sheer madness. They fought without holding back, throwing punches and knocking each other into the walls. She swore the whole structure shook.

When she saw her chance to escape, she took it. Now Scarlet only had the faint light of the moon peeking down through the thick forest canopy. She couldn’t hear her friends or spot a fire, so coming across the camp would be like finding a needle in a haystack.

As she distanced herself from the cabin in the woods, she calmed down, feeling safe now that she’d escaped. But she still couldn’t get the visual of their smooth, muscled bodies and smoldering eyes out of her mind. They were unlike any of the men she’d seen in the city or met in her classes. These guys wouldn’t take bullshit from anyone, and she could imagine they were the type of men who’d defend their woman. Too bad they were crazy.

What the fuck was that? She swore she heard the heavy pants of an animal. Something rustled the leaf litter to her left. Her heart began to race again. I should have taken my chances with the brothers.

“Going somewhere?” The voice came from directly in front of her. She crashed into a hard wall of warm muscle.

“Who are you?”

He clucked his tongue. “I’ve already said you have to pay for the damages.”

Of all the brothers, it had to be Brell to come after her.

“Nothing to say?” He ran his hands down her arms until he shackled her wrists on each side of her body. He leaned in and took a deep breath at her neckline. Why wasn’t she afraid? There was something about his musky scent, the baritone of his voice, and his unbridled strength. With a man like Brell, she wouldn’t be afraid to venture through the city streets at night…or the moonlit forest.

“You’re scaring me,” she whispered.

“No, you’re not scared.” Was that his tongue painting a trail up her neck? “I can smell you, Scarlet. Unlike my little brother, I know you haven’t been with a male in at least a year. Your panties are wet, and you wouldn’t fight me if I forced you to the forest floor right now.”

She made an insulted gasp, but he was right on all counts. Both his brothers appeared to show signs of interest in her physical appearance, but not Brell. Part of her yearned for his acceptance, even though the logical side of her knew she was looking for love in the worst place possible.

“Wrong. I have a boyfriend waiting for me in our camp, I’ve never been more turned off, and there’s no chance in hell I’d ever open my legs for a brute like you.”

“Cute. But if your boyfriend was a real man and loved you like he should, you wouldn’t be alone in the forest right now, fending for yourself.” He tightened his grip on her wrists. “And as much as I want to hate you, your scent continually pulls me in. Why is that?”

“I don’t know.”

He chuckled, a low, deep sound. With his body practically pressed against hers, she felt the vibration all the way down to her clit. “I feel like a young male during the awakening. Part of me wants to see just how wet your little pussy is right about now. The other, more dominant, side wants to bring you back to the cabin for punishment.”

“So, what side wins?”

Long and Short of it Erotic Reviews

f you go down to the woods tonight…! Remember that fairytale, Goldilocks and the Three Bears? Yes? Well forget it, this is something else entirely! Scarlet heads off to the woods on a camping trip with a group of friends, one of whom seems to think he has a chance with her (though this never comes to anything). She is pretty indifferent about the whole trip, but it’s something to do. She’s kind of bored with her life and has no one special to share it with. When the so-called friends come across a cute little cottage in the woods and drunkenly start to mess the place up, Scarlet pleads with them to stop, horrified that they could be doing this. Her innocent declarations however, fall on deaf ears when the owners of the cottage, three drop dead gorgeous bear shifting brothers, discover only her around. Scarlet and the Three Bears is one seriously steamy ménage story. I liked Scarlet from the beginning, though I did find there were quite a few other characters to get to know at this point with all the friends names popping up. She is feisty, knows what she wants and stands up to her friends drunken behavior. As for the brothers, wow, great characters. Conner, Brell and Leland were all different personalities and I felt I got to know them quickly and easily. I enjoyed how the author switched points of view a few times, it made for a well-rounded read. Did I mention the sex? There’s spanking, anal, oral, threesome fun galore. Scarlet gets to really enjoy her time with the brothers, and then, when the story closes, you’re left with a nice thought of her still continuing her erotic fun with them deep in the forest somewhere. If you enjoy a little fairytale fantasy with a meltingly hot ménage read – Scarlet and the Three Bears is a book for you.

Night Owl Romance Reviews

Scarlet is at a crossroads in her life. She’s about to graduate with her Bachelor’s and realizes she still doesn’t know what she wants out of life. Taking a weekend to camp with friends is an opportunity to clear her thoughts and focus on her next steps, even if she doesn’t have any enthusiasm. As a couple’s only weekend she finds herself paired with a man she’s not comfortable with, but figures she can handle it. Too bad he’s not the only thing she has to concern herself about. Leland, Connor and Brell are bear shifter brothers who have cut themselves off from society. Since hunters killed their parents they have no use for the human race. But when Scarlet is found in their trashed cabin, they decide to extract their own brand of justice. What starts as punishing a trespasser turns into a revelation that will change all of their lives. Three hot sexy men in a remote cabin who want me? You can lose me anytime. Scarlet is abandoned by her drunken friends and is better off for it. When the three very different brothers unite to seduce her she doesn’t stand a chance. My favorite brother was Connor, but Brell was sexy and Leland was cute and all three made for a steamy read. Who says there is no such thing as a happily ever after?

Book Wenches Review

Whoever would have thought that “Goldilocks and the Three Bears” could have a naughty side? In her novella Scarlett and the Three Bears, author Stacey Espino gives her readers a decidedly adult spin on this much loved fairytale. This ain’t your grandma’s “Goldilocks,” that’s for sure. In fact, the locks aren’t golden at all but a brazen red. And we all know the rumors about redheads, right? Exotic, hot-tempered and impulsive with a voracious sexual appetite, they are a far cry from the sweet and innocent blonde of folklore. This story mirrors the original Goldilocks tale in quite a few ways, which I thought was quite fun. Ms. Espino gives her heroine a name that reflects her glorious red hair, much like Goldilocks herself. The original Goldilocks broke into a home, broke some furniture, ruined a breakfast, napped in a bed that didn’t belong to her, and is awakened by a playful baby bear. Scarlet, in parallel, breaks into a cabin, watches in horror as her “friends” bust the place up, is indirectly responsible for Brell not being able to have his porridge for breakfast (which definitely pisses an already angry bear off), and had to test beds that are too hard and too soft before settling in on one that is just right. Finally, she is awakened by a baby bear who is definitely playful – in a crazed sex-on-the-brain kind of way. Each of the “bears” in this story has a distinctively different personality, much as in the original tale, but instead of papa, mama, and baby, we are given three brothers: angry (Brell), horny (Leland), and reasonable (Connor). These three are quite entertaining characters, and it was easy to like them despite their decision to treat Scarlet like a blow-up doll. Given how gun-shy these three are of humans, I was surprised at how very quickly they change their attitudes, but at least the story does offer an excuse with the mate bond. I have to admit having a little bit of a squeamish reaction to the forced seduction aspect of this tale. The bears inform Scarlett that she will servicing them sexually whether she wants it or not, and there is an implied threat of violence at first. She fears that they will rape her, and that was a complete turn-off for me. However, Ms. Espino does make it clear that the sex, when it happens, is consensual, so although I didn’t truly understand Scarlett’s reaction to the situation, at least it wasn’t rape. Far from it, if the speed at which she falls in love with her bears is anything to go by. Overall, this is a pretty entertaining story if you get past the rape theme, and I did enjoy its “and they lived happily ever after” ending. Readers looking for an unabashedly erotic rendition of a fairy tale should appreciate it. I’m always on the lookout for twisted versions old favorites, so I’m glad I picked it up to read.

Lion and Tigers and Bear, OH MY! Ok, no Lions...and no Tigers...but there ARE bears. Boy are there ever! Three super-hot, alpha male, bear shifters. I would gladly play Goldilocks to their angry bear, any day. Ms. Espino has delivered a super-hot version of Goldilocks and the Three Bears for Evernight Publishing's Naughty Fairy Tales line. I was already familiar with Ms. Espino's work and excited to get the chance to review this book. I was not disappointed. This is no fairy tale for kids. The sex is hot and exciting, as only Ms. Espino can write it. I was drawn into the emotions of each character, and despite the novella length, I did not feel cheated as I so often do with such short stories. The character of Scarlet, a young woman about to graduate college, is longing for one last hurrah before settling down to what she believes will be the soulless, boring life of a working adult. I could feel how restless and unhappy she was. I was rooting for something to come along and change that for her. Enter the three bears. They have their own problems and a deep distrust of humans. Despite that, they are all attracted to Scarlet. They each fight it for their own reasons and of course end up driving her away. She runs back to her friends, which was a mistake. I am not even sure what she was doing with them. Talk about an immature group of people. Not a one of them cared about anyone but themselves. Thanks goodness the brothers come back for her, scaring those idiot "friends" of hers in the process. (One of my favorite parts in the book!) They teach her what it means to have a passionate life. And in doing so, learn themselves, that they too can have a happy ever after. I have read almost every single Naughty Fairy Tale in the series, and I have said that every single one is my favorite. Then I read another one and I am amazed again at how much I love "that" one. The truth of the matter is, Evernight Publishing has put together a stellar group of authors and each one has written a superbly interesting story! So, BRAVO to Evernight Publishing, and of course, to Stacey Espino for penning a wonderful addition to an already spectacular series.

Goldlock & three bears theme but for adults.. Scarlet & a group of her "friends" went on a planned camping trip for graduation from college before venturing into the "adult" world. After setting up camp they went exploring & discovered a cabin which they broke into. While Scarlet's friends started "trash" the place Scarlet left them to their own and went back to the campsite. She lost her way and ended back at the cabin but her friends weren't there... Read the story if like fairy tales with a wicked twist this is good one :)
