Excerpt:

Talia stayed perfectly still at his side as he drove his truck down toward his home. He never slept where he worked. After closing up the club, he’d brought his truck to take Talia home with him.

Sarge had made sure to pay Danny a visit so the man knew to keep out of his business. He had no right telling Talia what he wanted, and next time, he was determined not to let his feelings show.

The way he’d learned to survive all these years was to keep shit to himself, so the fact others were seeing what he wanted, he didn’t like that at all.

He lived about a twenty-minute drive from the club just on the outskirts of the city. When he bought it close to seven years ago, it had been rundown. The price had been a steal because of how much work it needed. With the money he had, he invested in his club, repaired his home, and well, the rest is history.

Turning off the ignition, he made no move to get out. “Talia, I have no intention of hurting you. I won’t be teased or taken for a ride. You tell me to stop, I stop. Got it?”

“Yes.”

“And keep your insecurities at the door. My word is law inside that house. Understand?” he asked.

“Yes, I get it.”

“Good.”

He climbed out of the truck, grabbed her bag from the backseat, and made his way toward the front of the house. He kept a light on for his dog, Russ, who came to him the moment he opened the door.

“Hello, boy, how are you doing, buddy?” He knelt down, giving his dog a stroke.

The moment Russ saw Talia, he went straight to her, turning to give her access to stroke him.

“He’s my fierce guard dog,” he said.

Talia giggled, leaning down to stroke his belly. “Are you his fierce guard dog? You’re so cute. So very, very cute.” She blew kisses at him.

“All right, that’s enough. I don’t want you spoiling him. He won’t want to stay here alone.” He snapped his fingers and Russ got up, heading toward one of his many bed areas. Sarge had always been a sucker for a dog. Russ had been a stray he’d taken in, gotten him checked over by the vet, and finally adopted.

Dropping Talia’s bag in the sitting room, he turned to look at her. Her gaze moved around the room, clearly taking everything in. He smiled. Her attempt to seduce him was cute. Danny had tried to reassure him that the reason he spoke out of turn was that he noticed how they looked at one another. Well, with Talia wanting him to teach her about sex, he was more than happy to oblige, but she was only going to know how he liked it.

“Strip,” he said.

“Excuse me?”

“You heard me. Take off all your clothes. I want you completely naked.”

Talia has worked for her older boss for four years because she has no idea how to tell him how she really feels. When she finally works up the nerve, she is scared of the reaction she will receive. Sarge has led a hard life and watching Talia all these years has made life even more difficult. He knows she is too good for him but when she bends over one too many times, he knows that sexy figure will be his. Takis knows she is innocent and probably not what a man like Sarge needs but she has to take a chance. Sarge is at the end of the rope and keeping his sanity means she must be his. Will they find away together or is one lesson all Talia will get? Sam Crescent is a superb author who writes an edgy but sweet story full of fire. She created Sarge to be every woman’s wet dream and Talia’s sweetness lures men in. I read the story straight through and loved every page

Where will their story take them??

I have always loved Sam Crescent's books and this one is no different. This story flows smoothly from the very beginning until the very end. The characters are so realistic and relatable. You have Sarge who owns a strip club. Then you have Talia who came to work for Sarge at 18 as a waitress. Sarge has always been attracted to Talia but wouldn't go there because she is only 22 and he is 45. In order to see where Talia and Sarge's story ends you should really read this book, I recommend it.

Bad ass ex biker , young innocent girl in need, both fight their attraction until they can't anymore. Enjoyable characters, interesting storyline.

I love everything that Sam writes. And this book was one of them. This is one of her short and dirty books. Sarge is alpha hotness and Talia was Innocence in a package.

A hot, fun, and quick read! This age-gap romance is low angst and is full of alpha hero goodness. Sweetheart Talia and gruff Sarge make a great couple that I enjoyed seeing coming together. The perfect steamy read for an unusually cold spring afternoon.

Another fantastic addition to the Curvy Women Wanted series! I love how the rough and gruff alpha male finally broke his rules, and the sweet little innocent found her inner strength. The author did what she does best, throwing together the most unlikely pair and setting them up for a HEA that is meant to last. This book is one I’m sure I will be reading again, and I can’t wait to see what the author comes up with next.

Another great short story from Sam Crescent. It has the things I like....age gap romance, an alpha male who until he meets the heroine, doesn't do "love". Sarge has wanted Talia since she came to work for him at the strip joint he owns. She just works behind the bar and she's so much younger than him, but while he never acts on his impulses, he doesn't let any other man get close to her either. When Talia asks something of him, that's all it takes to change his mind. He's still convinced that he'll get tired of her but when feelings start getting in the way and he discovers something she didn't tell him, will it make him rethink his stand on loving her forever? There was a tiny bit of OW drama but nothing comes from it and she turns out to be someone I actually liked. Would be cool to see her story at some point! LOL
