Selling all her furniture, and finishing up the lease on her apartment, she hits the open road. Her dream was finally going to come alive.

Ten years of keeping his needs under wraps comes to a head as he takes that first kiss. They have one night. One night to get their fill of each other, and then, they’ll part ways. Only, one night isn't enough.

It will never be enough.

Will Bad allow Charity to live her life without him? Or will they finally give each other a chance and realize they were destined to be together?

Excerpt:

With a towel in hand, she stepped out of her room but came flush against Bad’s body. He’d moved so close, and she hadn’t even heard him.

“Oh,” she said. “Er, here’s a towel.” She shoved it against his chest, trying not to think about how hard and firm it was.

She inhaled, only to detect the leathery scent as well as his masculine one combined with it.

Charity had always had a crush on him. Even after all of this time, it hadn’t changed. Bad never looked at her as anything other than his best friend’s little sister. It was embarrassing. There was a time she thought he might have felt something, but … nothing ever happened.

Tilting her head back, she tried to imagine him not kissing her. She didn’t want his kisses. She didn’t want anything from him. Not a damn thing.

Keep lying to yourself.

Bad took the towel and stepped past her, entering the bathroom.

Get a grip on yourself.

It was impossible.

She moved toward the kitchen. There were only two mugs on the counter, one kettle. Everything else was sold. She would be leaving everything else in the apartment.

Spooning out the coffee into the mugs, she didn’t bother with cream or sugar. Neither of them liked to water down their coffee intake. She also liked strong, dark coffee.

Yum.

With the heavy scent of bitter coffee in the air, she turned to find Bad had wrapped a towel around his waist, but all of him was on display. She hadn’t seen him like this in over ten years.

Don’t stare.

It was impossible not to. He was so close, the apartment seeming to shrink with each second he was inside.

“I made you, a, er, I made coffee.” She picked up the coffee and stepped toward him, trying to keep her gaze away from his large, muscular, and heavily inked chest. A skull decorated his chest right over his heart. There were also some gravestones, as well as a hand coming out of the dirt.

Nibbling on her lip, she tried to not be distracted by him.

Bad took the coffee from her, but he didn’t move.

Why was he so close?

“Are you going to argue with me some more?” she asked.

“No.”

“You’re not?”

He chuckled. “It’s not my place to keep you where you don’t want to be.”

Charity blew across the surface of her coffee before taking a sip.

She had just finished sipping her drink when Bad took the cup away from her lips.

“What’s wrong?” she asked.

He didn’t answer. His hand cupped her cheek, and he tilted her head back. She looked up at him, a little surprised, and then, he slammed his lips down on hers, and all thought left her.

This is a short steamy romance. Bad mad a promise to his best friend that he would stay away from his sister. Every year he meets up with her for a short time at his friend's graveside and has respected his wishes. That is about to change as he gives in one night as she is leaving to live her life the way she wants and not the way her brother does. What qill happen? Will bad confess his love for her or let her go? Will he chase after her and bring her back if he does? Best to release in order so you can get the back stories and know the characters.

The Biker's Past Book 3 of Satan's Beasts MC: Nomad Chapter Sam Crescent The story and characters, Charity and Bad, are wonderfully written and nicely developed. Bad is a MC member and Charity is his dead best friend's sister. Great read.

It's been ten years, and Charity is ready to do what she wants not what her brother wanted for her. Every year Bad finds Charity at cemetery and he has kept his friends wishes, to stay away from his sister, but there is something different this year. This is a fast pace read with an explosion of emotions and desires to follow dreams, wants and passions.

Charity has always done as her brother wanted but now, she wants to go after what she wants. Bad has wanted Charity for a while but her brother warned him away. Then one night they run into each other, and things heat up between them. However, he leaves after they are together. Will he see that they belong together before its too late? This is a great story that once I started it I couldn't put it down. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

Bad and Charity’s story start with his bff/ her bro having been killed. He promises her bro that he wouldn’t touch her. But 20 yrs have past and she lives out her bro dream for her. She is now leaving to full fill her dream. When these two get together they have one incredible night and he’s gone by morning, so she leaves too. He soon realizes he needs her and goes after her. Read to see if he actually get the girl or will she decline his offer of him and his MC

Bad has been in love with Charity but as his best friend's little sister he knew she was off limits and that she deserved better than life on the road with his MC brothers. Her brother also demanded Bad keep his hands and feelings to himself. 10 years ago Charity's brother was killed and Charity has tried to live the life he wanted for her but she is done with that. She is determined to hit the road and live the life she has always wanted. Will that include Bad, the only man she has ever wanted? 5 stars.

Ten years ago a driver by shooting took her brother's life and left her alone. Bad was his best friend and joined the Nomad Chapter of the Satan’s Beasts MC after his death. He lives on the road and comes to see Charity once a year on the anniversary of his friend's death. He has always loved Charity but his friend made him promise to leave his sister alone. Charity has always loved Bad, she has tried to forget him, but it does not work, she has given up dating. Now she has sold all the stuff in the apartment and is hitting the road. Will these two realize they are headed down the same road and can travel it together or will they be stuck in the past?

Bad and Charity's life journey will take you on an unbelievable journey through life, love, hurt, pain......... and whatnot redemption, rebirth. They soon find themselves going through issues, emotions, situations that will threaten their future together but most importantly themselves personally, their identity as human beings. The Biker's Past will pull at your heartstrings. You better have your tissues on hand because you might even shed a tear or two.

Not the typical HEA

I really liked this story. There's a bit of heartache, plenty of stubbornness, and an explosion of heat and love. I liked that it wasn't a typical HEA with marriage and babies. Also, it's a short read, so you can finish rather quickly - like a lunch break - and the story feels complete, even if you wish there was just a bit more of Bad.

The third book in the Satan's Beasts MC: Nomad Chapter series. Bad goes every year to where his best friend Stevie' grave is and Charity, Stevie's sister will be. He has been doing that for ten years now, but this year will be different Charity tells him she is leaving and does not know where she is going. They get one night. I enjoyed seeing them with their ups and downs get a happy ending. I received a copy of this book via Evernight and am voluntarily leaving a review.

How long will Bad hide behind misplaced loyalty to a dead friend?

I absolutely loved Bad & Charity. Their story is more than 10 years in the making & over that time emotions & desire have built to an explosive point. This year a sudden rainstorm is the catalyst that tips them over the edge. They only have this one night. How long will Bad use misplaced loyalty to his dead friend as an excuse to deny his feelings before he's hauling arse to find his Charity?

A couple to root for

This was a fun read that was actually based around a sad situation - the death of Stevie, Bad's best friend and Charity's big bro. She had been crushing on Bad for years but he didn't seem interested. She also tried to live the live Stevie wanted for her but it was killing her spirit. Bad was warned away from her but he'd been crushing on her, too. When they came together, it was hot and so good...until he snuck out after. This truly crushed Charity and cemented her wish to set out and be a wanderer. Bad had some help from his buds to see the light and try and make things right with her. I loved these two together but really could have given Bad a shake or two ;P Good fun!

Time wasted

Bad has known Charity for a long time. She was his best friend’s little sister. He never missed visiting his buddy on the anniversary. Charity loved her brother but it was time to move on. Stay in one town wasn’t what she wanted. She wanted to travel and see the world. So much time lost because Bad wanted to honor a friend’s memory when the woman that he loved was right there. I have to say if it wasn’t for Charity wanting to move forward, these two would always be apart. Thank goodness for Piper and Colonel always giving a voice.

Bad and Charity have loved each other for a long time. But her brother interfered and Bad didn't want to hurt his friendship with him. Charity thought he saw her just as his best friend's little sister. They weren't seeing each other correctly. They were making assumptions about what the other really wanted. Thankfully the old ladies of the other guys and his Pres got through to him. They are perfect together.

a long awaited coming together

This is a fairly short read and part of a series. I think you could read this book without having read the others in the series, you would not know all of the other characters and the complete picture, but you could still enjoy it. Bad is part of an MC and every year he makes a trip to visit his best friends gravesite and his best friends sister, Charity. Charity has had a crush on Bad ever since she met him, she is deciding to move on with her life and travel the country. There isn't any action or violence in this story. It has drama or turmoil, mostly it's inner turmoil coming from Bad. There are some steamy scenes in the story, just a couple. It wasn't a full story just a quick story about two people who have wanted each other for a long time, but never took that final step.

Bad and Charity’s relationship was one based on the loss of her brother and his best friend. Stevie, Charity’s brother died and for ten years Bad would she her at his grave once a year. They had each wanted one another but Stevie had mad Bad promise not to be with her. Charity stayed in her mundane life for ten years trying to live how her brother expected. She couldn’t do it anymore. She was gonna leave and hit the open road to travel. That’s the life she wanted. Bad couldn’t believe his ears, he was a Nomad with the MC, could she really want that life? Could they really have it all?

They finally have a hot sexy night together, but it takes Bad’s MC brothers to help him see they can have a life together. Great story that reads quickly and nice HEA.

Charity lost her parents and her brother who was 10 years older brought her up. He died in a drive-by shooting and every year on the anniversary she sees Bad at the graveside. She has a bad case of wanderlust and has sold everything and will begin her travels once her lease has expired. When Bad learns she is leaving he acts on his feelings and they spend a night together before parting ways. This is a well written story and the characters gave me a warm feeling.

Bad and Charity are both too afraid to say how they feel. It's been 10 years of one visit a year and both keeping quiet. Finally though Bad realizes it's now or never. Charity is ready to spread her wings and live the life she wants. Bad gets a much need push from his club brothers, but they get their HEA!

A good short read on Bad and Charity, who’s had a long time crush on each other. Bad kept his distance due to promising his club brother who’s sister was Charity that he wouldn’t date her. After getting the chance to be with Charity, the heat between these two was full on hot. Definitely a good read to see how far this relationship progresses as they both give into their desires.

Charity's brother warned his friend Bad away from his sister, Charity, wanting Charity to have the chance for a picket fence and family. Charity didn't want that though, she wanted to travel and see the world around her. How long does Charity have to live her life the way her brother wants, especially now that he is dead? Does she have to live her life according to a dead man's wishes or can she finally live her own life? Will Bad want to be a part of her life now that she is no longer stuck in the same place? This is a sweet love story of 2 people trying to do the right thing to honor their dead brother but wanting a life and love on their terms.

Charity has been living like her brother wanted her too for 10 years and she's had enough. She's always had a crush on Bad but he didn't seem to notice. Only Bad has noticed her and he's kept his promise to her brother, his best friend, to stay away. For 10 years they tiptoed around each other when they went to the grave to lay flowers at his headstone but this year, it's different. After being together one night, Bad leaves and Charity hits the road like she's always wanted to but both of them are miserable without each other. Can Bad's brothers in the MC talk some sense into him and make him go after her? Will Charity be happy with Bad living the life of a nomad?
