The Blood Coven Series, 3

Denim Quinn is scarred…
She’s human, ex-military, ex-police, and now an ex-Alliance agent who has a bad history with men, most notably an abusive ex-husband whose brutal blows left her marked by visible and invisible scars. She’s not in the market for another man.

Ramirez is weighed down by guilt…
The satyr Firebrand warrior from Scath with spectacular looks, a bigger-than-life ego, and uber sex appeal is not in the market for a human female. His past taught him they’re fragile.

But when they meet…
Sparks fly and the action heats up. Ram and Denim partner to square off against Humans First, a paramilitary group bent on exposing the other realm’s Aeternals to the American army. If he survives being their target, maybe they can put their pasts to rest.

Excerpt:

Denim had been watching the gorgeous man at the bar. He was at least six and a half feet of untamed power with caramel-streaked hair flowing down his back like a waterfall. Her gaze traveled across his broad shoulders, angling to his trim waist. She ogled the tan dress slacks molding to his deliciously taut buttocks.

Two menacing Aeternals had walked in to bookend the gorgeous guy. Any other time, they might have ranked as stars in an erotic dream, but tonight she reserved her fantasies for the sexy dreamsicle.

On one side of the hottie, a man clad in Hell’s Angels duds and sporting spiked black hair chatted him up. A behemoth who weighed in at nearly three hundred pounds of pure muscle in a tall package had parked on his left.

After performing a one-eighty with predatory grace, the dreamsicle rested his elbows on the bar, leaned back, and crossed one ankle over the other. He managed easygoing and predatory at the same time. She fixed on the muscular forearms exposed beneath his rolled-up black sleeves. With each breath, his chest expanded, threatening to pop buttons on the silky collared shirt clinging to his solid pecs.

His sexuality was a gravitational field, sucking in the women along with a few men who sauntered past. They swished their hips, wandering by him to get a closer look-see. Some sidled alongside to flirt openly.

His lips curled into the sexy smile of a man who reveled in his effect on the opposite sex. But his eyes. They were translucent pieces of pale beach glass, framed by thick lashes.

They swept the room, probably looking for an easy score. All the handsome ones were searching for a mark, weren’t they? An easy woman. A woman they could manipulate.

Unfortunately, Denim was a sucker for a guy who pulled off polished gigolo and dangerous man in one body.

As women walked past the sexy guy, his irises latched onto their asses. No doubt about it. He was a player. A troller. A bullshit artist.

Epic

I really like that while there is one central romance for each book, there are others mixed in as well. In The Satyr's Guilt, there are three. Central is the romance between Alliance agent Denim and satyr Firebrand Ram. This is one of those cases where he thinks he's all that and a total flirt, but the target of his endeavors is having none of it. She's tough as nails and has been around the field a few too many times. She's all business and doesn't need an overprotective man in her way. Next up is the nymph Firebrand, Sabine, and her human charge, Nico, another Alliance Agent. In their case, Nico is feeling smothered by the overprotective Sabine. Finally, we have Lizette and Jarek. She's a radio psychologist that has been put through the wringer of captivity. He's the djinn commander of one of the Firebrand compounds. Besides the development of these relationships, there is plenty of danger and action. The series arch continues to develop. Tension is tight. All in all, I couldn't put it down.

Ram and Denim
Written by kdavis on 27th Oct 2023

This book was also another great addition to the Blood Coven Series. Ram is very much attracted to Denim but she has been abused and traumatized by her husband and she wants nothing to do with men. Ram is surprised when his charme fails to get him Denim. They are assigned to work together which makes it hard for Ram as he is still attracted to Denim. Will they be able to tear the walls down and have their HEA? I've enjoyed all three of these books in this series.

T.M. Smith has done a great job with this third installment of The Blood Coven series. The character work and story line were well written and kept me hooked from start to finish.

Paranormal romances, so good, so...yummy. There's just something about them that keeps us coming back for more, isn't there? And this one by Smith is no exception!.

Complexity that continues to grow
Written by RahiaLeight on 27th Oct 2023

Continued complexity and great world building. Slow burn with plenty of angst and excitement to make the wait worthwhile. The different worlds, perspectives, and the connections across tales in the series make it a page-turner.

The Satyr's Guilt
Written by Romance Tragic on 27th Oct 2023

Did not see this one coming! I'm not a huge pnr reader, but boy, this story delivers 5 stars on all the feels, the tension and the darkness of obsessive and addicted attraction. Holy moly. Nice play between myth and the human realm, and insane steamy bits. I read this as a stand-alone book, but am definitely reading the rest of the series now. Quick read - great for a weekend binge.

The Satyr’s Guilt.
Written by Caroline D on 27th Oct 2023

I’m loving this series and this story is one of my favourites with plenty of action, adventure, suspense, danger, passion and so much more to keep you turning the pages. Agent Denim Quinn wears the scars from her ex and Ramirez a warrior from Scath just knows how fragile humans can be but he can’t help his feelings for Denim. I loved this story and the characters and I highly recommend this book.

A great book, storyline that held your attention and the characters and characters were to be enjoyed. I don't give much away because you can read the gist of the story on the cover, what I do want to say is that this is highly recommended to read, because I really enjoyed this book and the other 2 parts.

This is a different type of couple. A human /satyr relationship is new for me. This is a great read by the author. Waiting for the authors' next book.

The third book in the Blood Coven Series. Denim Quinn and Firebrand Satyr Ramirez's story is a good addition to this series. The story held my interest until the end, it is well written with a good storyline. I received a copy of this book via Evernight and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Very Creative World
Written by LoriB on 27th Oct 2023

An example of excellent world-building. One of the best ideas about this book is that the author gives a glossary of terms. It lends a crystalized version of this exceptional world. There is a wide variety of characters that the reader is introduced to. Ram and Denim, the main characters, have a strong chemistry and the erotic tension between them is fiery. It truly kept my interest and the pacing is breakneck.

Another must read by T.M. Smith
Written by Crystal74 on 29th Jul 2023

T.M. Smith has done it again in this book you have Rameriz or Ram who is a gorgeous, muscle packed satyr and Denim who is an ex-military strong female who’s been abused by her exhusband the jerk. The relationship between Ram and Denim is one of palpable sexual attraction but like all of the Firebrand males, Ram is an alpha, and fears for the life of the woman with whom he is falling in love. Denim is an experienced solider, former police officer and Alliance agent, and as such, struggles with Ram’s need to protect her.

The Satyr's Guilt!
Written by Mary on 29th Jul 2023

This is the third story in the creative and intriguing "Blood Coven" series. It can be read in as a stand alone read but you may get more out of the story if you read the prior ones first. It is a paranormal vampire story that is full length and very intriguing. I really like the characters and how the story builds and develops. It is fast paced and action packed. I enjoyed every bit of this read. The author did a great job with this one offering adventure, subterfuge, steam, passion and some vulnerabilities. I loved it!!!

Another AWESOME book!
Written by Sheera on 29th Jul 2023

Well this book is definitely a page turner. As awesome as the story is, I don't think it's nearly as delicious as the other book in the series, "The Demon's Fire"! Now THAT book had it ALL! As for this one, yea it ticked all the boxes of a good read but it didn't have the same impact as book #2. I don't know, maybe a book centered around a demon has more oomph for me than a book about a satyr. To each his own! I'd still recommend it to anyone interested in a good paranormal romance read. Lots of steamy, plenty of action, lots of emotions, the whole shebang!

Wow!! I loved this book so much action
Written by Sarah ES on 29th Jul 2023

There was so much going on in this book. So much information was dropped on the reader involving each and every Firebrand we previously read about. The one thing I did not like was all the definitions and details about characters and places being the first pages of the book!! Usually this information is presented at the end of the book so the reader can look at it if they need to and not right at the front. I am glad the information was included because it was kind of like a little reminder of what happened in the first 2 books. I almost feel like I need to go back and read them now that I’ve read the 3rd installment to make sure all the information lines up after this book. I absolutely can’t wait for the next book as this one was so hard to put down!! Fabulous job!! ??

Fantastic Reading!
Written by C. Sinclair on 29th Jul 2023

The Satyr’s Guilt is an excellent third entry in a series that takes place in a reality that is mind bending good as crafted by an author at the top of her game. This is a big book of action-adventure, subterfuge, steamy romance, and personal vulnerabilities brought to life by characters that take over the narrative and deliver a centerpiece of Paranormal Urban Fantasy with leads Denim Quinn and Firebrand Satyr Ramirez leading the way. I have been enjoying this series and found this current book meeting all my expectations for a solid well written and imaginative read that will I’m sure thrill other readers of this genre as well!

I was so excited to see another book in this series. This book has everything you can wish for in a book. Action, spice and so much more. WAs definitely invested the whole way through. Stayed up all night reading it. Ram and Denim did not disappoint. So much fire. There was another couple that had a story with in the story and a few that may be next. Can’t wait for more. Keep them coming!

So, so good
Written by Reensburger on 29th Jul 2023

Ugh I don't even know where to start! This story follows on from the previous, with all sorts of hinky stuff going on the Firebrands are taking hits from all sides. Enter Denim, an alliance officer whos a legit hardass woman, but she's been hurt in the past and doesn't trust men at all. She ends up partnered with Ram, a sexy as hell satyr and the chemistry between these two is off the charts. With twists and turns, new characters introduced and old friends continuing their story all mixed up with the type of heat and suspense you'd expect, this is a book that is hard to out down. I cant wait for the next book.

The Satyr's Guilt
Written by Karen99 on 29th Jul 2023

What A Super Fantastic Read! Another great storyline from this series, so much going on but based around Ram and Denim’s love story. Ram a Satyr one of the Firebrand warriors and Denim an Alliance agent but heads. No one has ever resisted Ram, he feeds of sex, sexual emotions and he loves women but only as a one night fix up. Denim couldn’t believe how sexy Ram was when she first set eyes on him, he just oozed with sex appeal and he appealed to her but resist him she did for a little while! The stoyline takes you through different events happening at the same time all connected to the story, full of action, mystery, emotions that you make you feel high and low, witty moments, suspense which will keep you on your toes wondering what will happen next! This is one exciting, sexy, steamy read with passion around every corner. It doesn’t just give you one romance but more. Wonderful characters old and new with personalities that lift of the pages! Although this can be read as a standalone it helps if you've read previous books in this series so you can connect to their characters! I cannot recommend it enough and it’s worth more than a 5* review.
