Excerpt:

He didn’t know how long he’d been out. Still, the deep gash in his wrist along with the other lacerations should be closing faster. He sensed a couple broken ribs. A bum leg. A hole in his chest. Burns. A whopper of a headache. Pain.

A rhythmic pulse beat in her neck, blood rushing through the vein capable of speeding his healing. He licked his lower lip. His body agreed with the assessment, his belly rumbling from gnawing hunger. Dax needed to feed.

“My leg is broken. Did you set it?”

“Yes.”

“Why are my hands tied?” Unblinking, he stared at who he determined would become his meal, never taking his eyes off where he planned to pierce her flesh.

When she maneuvered to her feet, she leaned against the doorjamb, a long skirt wrapped around her legs and a snug T-shirt hugging delicious curves. She was prepped to sprint. Not that it would do her any good.

“Look at me. I’m a five-foot-five girl and you’re … well … a lot more. I wanted to help you, but I needed to be certain you wouldn’t hurt me.”

“And?”

“A-a-and what?”

When she stuttered, Dax sensed she was hiding something. “I don’t know. You tell me.”

The nervous female’s boots tapped on the wood floor as her gaze dropped. “Um. Sure. This might sound crazy. Are you a vampire?”

Interesting question, but she was about to find out the truth anyway. Why not give her a preview of coming attractions?

Dax shot her a toothy grin that exposed his fangs, ones which had grown longer, pointier, her shapely throat a beacon for his thirst.

She flinched and glanced out the doorway, eyeing an escape route.

When she twisted back toward Dax, Chiara stuttered. “You don’t remember me.”

“Should I?” He growled, his body needing blood to heal.

“No. I’ve changed.”

Had he fucked her? Humans weren’t to his taste. Blood too thin, bodies too frail for the workout he liked to give his partners. Still, it wasn’t out of the question since she was a tempting little thing.

“I’m sorry. I don’t remember when we hooked up. Untie me, let me rest a bit, and we can go at it again. Afterward, I’ll hit the road. No harm. No foul.”

“What? No. We haven’t had sex.” Her brows furrowed while she worried her thumb.

She was angry, but hunger shot through his gut once more. He needed a bite soon. Enough chit-chat and making nice. “Okay. I give. How did we meet?”

Chiara and Dax

I really liked this storyline and the characters. Dax meets Chiara when she's 10 years old as he rescues her from a bad car accident. Chiara is a witch who uses her potions to heal. Dax is a Firebrand, and he's hurt really badly by a demon and a group of wolfhounds chase the demon away. Chiara comes across Dax who's badly injured and memory serves she remembers him saving her life when she was 10. She saves Dax and she lets him drink from her as she is a Blood Coven descendant. They end up on the run together trying to find a portal that isn't blocked so they can enter Scath. This was an exciting story and kept my attention.

Chiara and Dax. He rescues her from a car wreck when she was young. Now hes left for dead and she rescues him years later and she knows him, right?? Shes expecting a hero that saved her but hes anything but. Now they are on the run together for their lives.

Dax and Chiara meet again as adults

The fourth book in the Blood Coven Series. If you have been reading this series, do not miss Daxton a Firebrand Scion and human Chiara Lopez's story of both of them saving each other at different times in their lifes. The story kept me turning pages and I was not putting the book down until I finished it. The story is well worth reading. I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Dax is my new book boyfriend

Ugh Dax, Dax, Dax. We met him in previous books and he was as hot headed and unruly as he has ever been. Add Chiara into the mix and this book was so damn hot! Of course we still have the underlying story threads working through the book and it's always nice to see previous couples.

This is a great series and this time it is the story of Dax and Chiara. Their love story was fantastic and contained a lot of action and danger and the fight between good and evil was well depicted. There's plenty of romance and blood and steam and heat between them, too.

This is the fourth story in the very creative, well developed and intriguing "Blood Coven" series. Although it can be read in as a stand alone read I recommend you read the prior ones first. You will get more out of this one if you do. It is a paranormal vampire story that is full length and very intriguing. I really like the characters and how the story builds and develops. It is fast paced and action packed. I enjoyed every bit of this read. The author did a great job with this one offering opposites attract, fighting attraction, adventure, subterfuge, steam, passion, witty dialogue and some vulnerabilities. I loved it!!!

Great action with a lot of love to go around

This book was absolutely fantastic. The love story between Dax and Chiara as well as a lot more information on other characters we have already read about as well as the nonstop action between good and evil. This book really has it all from steamy spicy love stories to bloody gore and violence!! Looking forward to the next installment.

Superb writing and story. Plenty of action and chemistry between the lovers. He rescues her as a child and then they meet again. But fate decided they were mates. Exciting throughout I recieved a free copy via Booksprout and I’m giving my review freely and honestly

The Vampire’s Thirst is book four in the Blood Coven series and a fiery Paranormal Romance of action-adventure and suspense that features an MMC whose a HOT Vampire warrior on the run from enemies and chased from his realm to Earth where he unexpectedly reunites with his past in the form of MFC Chiara. This was an exciting story that keeps the intensity vibes high while the good writing and imaginatively crafted narrative does not fail to hold the reader’s attention as it evolves into the fantastic read it is!

Chiara is a lady I want for a friend. No holds-barred. Funny. And admits when her perceptions do not match reality but rolls with the punches. I will admit, I read book 4 first before the other 3 but that was because it was the one I saw first. Now onto the other three.

Chiara is a human witch and she finds Dad a vampire hurt near her home. She recognises him as the man who saved her life when she was 10. There is a bigger picture where the bad guys are trying to defeat aeternals, and take over Earth. There is war, intrigue, angst and other drama

WOW! This series keeps getting better! Full of sexy, passionate alphas, you won’t want to put this book down! Dax is a Vampire who doesn’t believe in HEA, especially for him but when he comes across the girl he once saved who is now a woman, will he be able to resist her? Her blood calls to him and he wants her with a passion he’s never known but he’s not good enough for her, he was bad and had done too many evil things in his life! Chiara has always had a thing for the hero who saved her years ago but when she rescued him and saved him, reality was different to what she imagined he would be like. He was moody, arrogant and no hero but he was still what she wanted! The storyline will keep you glued to every page as the action and suspense keeps you on a knife edge. Fantastic characters new and old, each with their own ongoing sizzling steamy relationships! I love the way the storyline gives more than one HEA and how it interacts with each story within the series. I cannot wait for the next book in the series. Highly recommended read!
