Ellie is looking for a job and place to stay and Darian offers her to say with him and Larkin (Darian's girlfriend). Ellie is looking for her place in the world and not confident in the beginning and wants to be independent but needs help that she initially rejects. Ridge wants to be the man that helps her find her place with him.
I liked the book it was a short at 124 pages, but did not feel rushed and was an entertaining 2 hour read.
