Excerpt:

By the time they got back to her apartment, Tara was wide awake, so they didn’t have a lot of time after visiting his friends to talk.

This time, Tara also seemed to be rather active. Like full-on active, and determined not to give them any time. Caleb didn’t mind. It gave him the opportunity to think. Ryan had taken him to one side, to tell him that Katherine was indeed pregnant, and he had no doubt Katherine had warned Annie about what happened.

Four hours—that’s what it took for Tara to finally go to sleep. They were standing over the crib in Annie’s room. Caleb reached for Annie’s hand, and they stepped back. They took their time, not wanting to wake her up.

Once outside of the bedroom, she pulled the door closed, and Caleb pressed her up against the wall. Letting go of her hands, he stroked her cheek, staring into her eyes.

“Tell me if you want this to stop.”

He hoped she didn’t, because all he could think about was fucking her.

Annie ran her hands down his chest, grabbing his shirt, and then tugging it up over his head.

He stepped away long enough for her to discard the shirt, and then he reached for the tie of the dress and released it. The dress opened up and he shoved it past her shoulders. They moved along the wall, heading toward his bedroom.

Caleb didn’t give himself the time to admire the way she looked until they were in his bedroom. She wore a pair of lacy panties and a bra. She looked stunning. He still had on his jeans and Annie tried to cover her body. Reaching out, he took hold of her arms and placed them down her sides.

“Don’t hide from me,” he said. “You’re stunning.”

An interesting twist on the old nanny/employer trope, with the roles reversed in Annie being the one in need of help after tragedy lands poor baby Tara in her care and Caleb being the one to fill her needs, in every way. I've read a couple of Sam Crescent books and I this is one of the more tamer ones, but still just as enjoyable. Making it the perfect quick read. It had just the right mix of sexy time and the beginning of a really sweet relationship between them and some needed healing for both parties, zero aghast or complications. Just two people falling fast, in love with each other and a baby and a happy ending.

Annie is left custody of Tara when two people from her past die suddenly. She has no one to help her know what to do to care for Tara so she turns to a nanny company. Caleb owns the company and knows he can't refuse to help her. So, he moves in and sees how she is with Tara. Annie isn't really in need of help just has some anxiety over what she is doing. Sparks fly between them as they work together on making sure Tara is getting what she needs. Will this turn into something more? This is an amazing story that once I started it I couldn't put it down. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

And you will, too! Caleb and Annie are magic together. This is a wonderful story with well developed characters and a great plot line. Caleb Nanny falls quick for Annie and the sweet baby girl that she has custody of when she comes to him for help. They both want happily ever after in their lives, but can they both overcome their pasts to create their future together?

Will they be honest about how they're feeling so they get the happy ever after they want? Expect lots of fun, laughter, honesty, friendship, love and more throughout. This is the first book I've read in this series and I can't believe how I missed the other books! This story is so good, it touches your heart. As always the characters are good, but Caleb! He moves you from beginning to end, all the pain of him ... It is impossible not to fall in love with him.

This is the 10th book in this series, and this is Annie and Caleb’s story, When Annie is left to look after a baby girl Tara, when her parents pass away, she is left feeling hopeless, and contacts Caleb for help. Caleb owns “The Nanny” business, and he volunteers to help Annie, when the sparks fly between them. This is a well written story which is sweet, with romance, humor, tragedy, emotions, and love, which leads to an entertaining and spicy page turner. Both Annie and Caleb have the baggage from past relationships, but the moment she walked into Caleb's office asking for help, he felt a pull towards her and could not resist. I am a big nanny, single dad fan so I wasn’t sure about this one but,I liked it. This is the author’s Book 10 of The Nannies. This book follows Annie and Caleb. Caleb is the expert here and Annie has just found out she has a 6 month old to raise. Caleb is the owner of The Nanny services. Poor Annie knows absolutely nothing and has to ask how to care for this precious bundle.

All I can say is that I enjoyed the Nanny series, the author drew us into the main characters' stories with each installment and held your attention from start to finish and it was a relief that it was now reversed in instead of a female Nanny now a male one. I absolutely loved it and would definitely recommend it to the next book!

These characters are absolutely amazing and the story leaps right off the pages at you. This story is definitely a twist on the common (nanny boss love story). Annie a beautiful young lady is thrust into the role of caretaker and is looking for help and in steps Caleb. Caleb in the perfect match for Annie -- the relationship grows and your get the see all the ins and outs. The author knows how to grab your attention and keep you reading... awesome book!!

This was such a fun read! I really loved seeing Caleb, the owner of the nanny business that Annie went to for parenting help, slowly fall for her. Annie got guardianship of a baby after her parent's were killed. She had zero clue on how to be a good 'mom'. Caleb took pity on her and moved in with her to help teach her the ropes. Of course, Annie needed to feel more confident than anything else and he helped with that. Both of these characters had baggage but together, they learned that love conquers all, giving them a fab HEA. This was a fun read with some great role reversals and I loved the epilogue for that future view of them ;D

Annie and Caleb's story has a few twists in it I did not see coming. Annie has been given custody of a baby and she needs help learning how to take care of the baby girl. So she hires a nanny to help her. Caleb set out to break stereotypes when he started his nanny business using only man but now his business is all inclusive. But when he meets his newest clients, Annie and baby, he decides to take on the job personally. It was only a job but he felt a pull towards Annie so what starts out as a 6 week assignment has turned into more. Let's say they ate both feeling the same.

I love the nanny series and I liked the play on role reversal, with the male as the nanny who owns his own business. I likes that this put both characters on an even playing field, due to the fact that they both had successful careers. My only con about this book was that for me personally I didn't find the male was alpha enough for me, unlike some of this authors previous books but that's not to say I didn't enjoy it. I loved how their relationship progressed and they felt more like a family straight away. I like that their wasn't any drama with other people but the author delves into both main characters backgrounds giving you more depth to them and allowing you to feel more towards them, in a way that you feel and understand the emotions of the main characters which also allows you to like them even more! This for me was a nice and smooth romance that is a very satisfying read!

I found this a quick and easy rom-com read that is full of steamy, sexy scenes. Annie becomes the guardian to Tara and enlists the services of Caleb who runs a nanny agency. There is an instant attraction but both have been hurt previously and are wary of getting hurt again. I found both Annie and Caleb likeable and liked seeing how their relationship developed. I don't think Caleb ever considered the job out of pity. I think from the moment they met, whether it was just in the back of his mind or closer to the surface than he'd admit, he intended to make Annie and Tara his. It was a fun story. Caleb traveled a real hard road, but he wasn't as jaded as you'd expect. As always, I think Sam did a great job with this story. Softer than I anticipated with a definite happy ending.

Mr. Nanny is the 10th book in the Nannies series by Sam Crescent, but you do not need to read the previous books to fully enjoy this one. This book follows Annie and Caleb. In a reversal of the typical woman nanny role, Caleb is the owner of The Nanny nanny services and when Annie comes in asking for help learning how to care for a 6-month-old that she suddenly got care of, Caleb jumps at the chance of helping her out. They both have been hurt in the past in the most tragic ways, but can they get their happy ever afters? I really liked the concept of this book, especially because we rarely see such role reversals and not even just the job aspect. Annie does several things throughout the book that we normally see the male do, which was very refreshing. I admit I found the whole story very predictable but well done overall.

This really is a cute story! Caleb had a successful nanny business, and Annie was in desperate need of help to take care of a baby that was left to her upon the death of her former friends. Caleb is still reeling from the disaster of his last relationship; but feels an instant attraction to Annie. Can he help her without his feelings becoming involved? Can Annie open herself up enough to trust herself and her baby with Caleb? Will a ready made family be in the works for the 3 of them? I sure hope so! Enjoy reading!

This was a book about second chances in an unorthodox setting. Annie hired Caleb to be a nanny for Tara, the infant she gotten. Tara is the child of her former best friend and her ex. Annie is not confident in her parenting abilities or her ability to love Tara because of who her parents are. Caleb has his own hang ups but he helps Annie trust herself and he falls for her in the process. This is a story about two people who thought love broke them but they realize that what they experienced was life lessons. It look a while for them to communicate their feelings but they finally figured it out.

The MMC is unlike the others MMCs I’ve read. He feels real, vulnerable like everyone else, but it doesn’t make him less. One thing is clear, he is indeed a good man. This is not insta love. There was attraction at first which developed into love over time.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. Annie has found herself with a baby that was left for her. She has never taken a care of a baby and she needs help. She hires a nanny who just happens to be the owner of the company. Caleb offered his services and moves in immediately with her. He never expected to develop such intense feelings for her. Annie having been hurt before is a little gun shy to confess her feelings about Caleb.

This book was a nice role reversal with the nanny being a man instead of a woman. I enjoyed reading about how Caleb and Annie want what is best for the little girl even though technically she wasn't biologically either of theirs. The story does get steamy but not right away. They are both interested in the other right away but hold back. Both of them have also had bad past relationships. There is no action or violence just them getting to know each other better.

She is wonderful and the stories she tells are so so so good--this is a series but each book is a stand alone story so you don't have to read the books before to get this story but believe me you will want to read all the works once you read this one!

Annie Wells needs help. She is Guardian to an infant and doesn’t know what to do. Caleb Nanny has a successful company in The Nanny. He has men and women trained to help. When Annie walks into his office, he is thunderstruck. He never had an instant attraction to any woman. But she needs his help and he has no problem with the assignment. He’ll help her with what she doesn’t know about taking care of a baby. We all know that taking care of an infant is pretty much learn as you go. There isn’t really a book out there that can give you all the right answers. That is why we all slip now and then. Caleb even tells Annie that no one is perfect. We also learn about why he is so hesitant to jump into a relationship as well as why Annie doesn’t like to take Tara out. Annie’s fears are silly honestly. As he said, just answer honestly and what you feel in your heart. These two seem to just need each other.

Annie, unexpectedly finds herself caring for a baby and needs help. Mr Nanny, aka Caleb is the owner of a nanny service. He meets Annie and decides he must take on the nanny role and then deems it necessary that it is a live-in role. While I do classify this a a slow burn romance, the inner dialogue of both shows feelings are involved. Things do heat up and they move in together (as a couple). Moving forward includes declarations of love, marriage and a lovely epilogue that wraps up the story so very well.

This was a fun, easy to read novella. I liked that for a change the nanny was a guy and he fell first. The storyline felt fresh with a plot twist regarding the baby girl and ended with a cute HEA

Rating: 4/5 ⭐️ Publication Date: February 7th 2023 Author: Sam Crescent Review: I was not expecting this book to be this short. So of course that has its pros and cons. I really enjoyed that it got to the point rather quickly and I was able to finished it in a day, but I also felt like I was missing somethings from the start I felt like I was jumping into a book in the middle of a series, I felt like they writing was suggested that you shoulda l ready know who these people where. I was also just waiting for the ball to drop on something bad to happen like usually but this didn’t really have it. Also loved the Mr nanny aspect it was kind of different Either way it was a very easy read and fast. I’m looking forward to reading more of @authorsamcrescent

This was such a cute book. Annie and Caleb each have a crappy past from previous, relationships. But they end up having amazing chemistry. This is a really great book and I would highly recommend reading it.

A quick but cute read

This was a quick read but had lots of good stuff in it. Annie has been left with a baby and she knows nothing about how to take proper care of her. Enter Caleb Nanny (yes, that's his name). He runs a business that send Nannies to people requesting one. It was fun to see a guy as nanny and I loved how he was so good with Baby Tara. Not really a lot of drama, it's just a sweet story and I loved the epilogue!!!

This book is about Annie Wells and Caleb Nanny. Caleb literally is Mr. Nanny. Caleb runs a nanny service. Annie becomes a guardian for a infant girl and doesn't know what she's doing. This book has role reversals from what people are typically used to seeing. Especially at the end of the book. Clearly Annie and Caleb were meant for each other but had to go through difficulties before meeting each other. There are some steamy scenes.

This was a fun role reversal plot that I enjoyed. Annie is taking care baby Tara whose parents died in an accident and she goes to Caleb's nanny agency wanting training in how to take care of a baby. Caleb is attracted to her and agrees to be her live in nanny to help her adjust to caring for a baby. Anne works from home as an author and spends a lot of time with Caleb leaning to care for baby Tara. They fight their attraction as their feelings for each other grow. I enjoyed the story and recommend for a unique plot.
