Sinful Seduction, 2

Simon Knight and Riley Conner have been circling each other for years. A night of passion a few years back left Simon needing more and Riley running for the hills. When an amazing business opportunity Simon is pursuing hinges on demonstrating he's a serious family man, Riley will have nowhere left to run.

Riley, no longer the “chubby girl with a pretty face,” has kept her interaction with men strictly casual, especially with sexy-as-sin club owner Simon Knight. His desperation to close a lucrative business deal ensnares her in an intricate web of lies that releases a chain of unintended events.

Will Riley leave Simon to find his own way out of the mess he created? Or will she show him mercy and help him while also guarding her heart at all costs?

Excerpt:

“Where are you, Simon? You coward!” Riley headed toward the stairs to the second-floor offices.

“He’s not in his office,” Mitch said from behind her. She turned and eyed him expectantly.

“Do I even want to know?” Mitch asked meekly.

Riley scoffed. “You do not.”

Mitch hung his head and shook it slightly. “Damn it, Simon. He’s in the Bunny Hill Room.”

She turned away from Mitch and with determined strides went to confront the man of the hour. It figured Simon was in the Bunny Hill Room. It was a private, reserved space on the lower level, set up like a cozy ski lodge with a ten-person in-ground hot tub, snowflake-tiled floors, a stone fireplace and cocktail bar, and a flat-screen TV. He was most likely funning it up with who knew who, in the middle of the day no less. Riley shoved the sudden jealousy that gnawed at her insides aside. Simon and his companions were about to get an earful.

Riley stood frozen in place after she entered the Bunny Hill Room. The scent of chlorine tickled her nose. Andrew was seated at the bar, engrossed in reviewing whatever was displayed on his laptop screen.

And Simon, Heaven help her, was seated in the center of the large hot tub, chiseled arms spread out, resting on the ledge, leaning back, eyes closed. The water bubbled around him, but Riley could see plenty of his rippling chest and six-pack. She knew what lay deeper inside the tub that she couldn’t see. It was as if Michelangelo had sculpted Simon especially for her eyes to behold. Desire burned a hot spot in the pit of Riley’s stomach and she had to mentally shake herself and focus on the reason for her visit.

She took a calming breath and braced herself. “Hate to bother you while you’re so busy running your empire, but who the hell are Desmond and Regina Fox and why did they send me roses with a note congratulating me on our engagement, expressing their excitement about attending our wedding, and wishing us years of marital bliss?”

Simon’s eyes popped open in surprise and he bolted up exposing more muscled flesh. Riley’s body heated, but she stood firm. Andrew groaned and shook his head. She wasn’t surprised Andrew knew something. The brothers were thick as thieves.

Having seemingly quickly regrouped after Riley had surprised him, Simon’s lips slowly curved into his trademark cocky grin that got to her every time. Not this time, though. Riley was determined to guard her heart but she needed to set him straight.

“Well?” Riley tapped her foot on the tiled floor.

Simon made a show of slowly climbing out of the tub, all his naked glory on display in front of her. Shocks of lust seared into her core. With great effort, she did her best to appear unaffected and didn’t comment. Simon shrugged, his eyes filled with mischief, and proceeded to the racked stack of fluffy white towels in the corner of the room. His muscular backside was as perfect as his front. Andrew turned back to his computer, not interested in Simon’s show.

After he’d dried off and wrapped a towel around his waist, Simon took a seat next to his brother at the bar. Riley continued tapping her foot, waiting for an explanation.

What a book
Written by Victoria.W on 2nd Oct 2023

This was such a great book. I loved it. Simon a single father and although not exactly living a godly life. Was a man of faith, he loved Riley and wanted it all. She was guarded and did not think trust his feelings were more than hookup. I loved that he was not going to give up and accepted her as she was softer and curvier even when if she did not see herself as beautiful. I loved the relationship between him, Emma, Lauren and Riley. The ending was perfect one big happy family working it out.

Really sweet story!
Written by Kimmijane on 2nd Oct 2023

This charming story is about love and fear of being hurt by it. The characters are sweet and fun especially the kids. There is romance and steam and is an easy fast read. This book is about people who are believers (in God) but are also flawed by sin. But in the end God shows his mercies and answers prayers.

Loved this!

Simon and Riley occasionally hooked up. Simon always wanted more but Riley was reluctant. Until the day Simon put them in a predicament and told a business associate they were engaged to be married. Riley agreed on the terms they would divorce within a few months but Simon will do anything to keep her and to prove to her that he loves her.

Very Sinful
Written by Danee on 2nd Oct 2023

This was a lovely story and I was hooked from the start because oh boy the steam and the heat between Ripley and Simon set the pages of your book on fire. The author has written a great storyline and I can't wait to see what else comes from the author.

Not what I expected
Written by Courtney B on 17th Aug 2023

This story is not at all what I expected…. So the FMC and MMC have tons of hookups and steamy scenes throughout the book, but they and the rest of the characters are quoting Bible verses practically every page. It was definitely an unexpected juxtaposition. I also expected their interactions to be a bit darker, with maybe some slight coercion to go along with the plan, but really their interactions were really sweet. MMC is a total cinnamon roll.

Great story
Written by PHOENIX96 on 29th Jul 2023

Simon and Riley have a pull/push relationship that spans years, their chemestry may sizzle but when it comes to matters of the heart they both face issues. Simon needs to prove he's a family man for a buisness deal and Riley fits the bill but could a fake marriage based on lies really be the end all? Well written engaging, second chance, desires, romance.
